Dr. Umal Azmat, MD

Very disappointed in the dr. and her lack of perception on a current incident. I had been in hosp. for 2 days and had to make a follow up appt. with my Endocrinologist. The hosp. had given me a sleeping pill the nite before I left, and I took some other medication the evening I got home, not knowing that the sleeping med was still in my system. I don't know how I drove to the dr. or anything that happened in that office while I was there, or after. I am 84 yrs. old, don't drink or do drugs except for my normal meds. I am there very often. What I can't understand is how this medical professional never noticed anything wrong with me? Didn't ask if I was OK? I could barely walk or talk. Was going to drive home in that condition possibly have an accident or hurt someone. Thankfully, a PATIENT, followed me out to my car, brought me back somehow into the office, got my daughter's phone number and called her. Could this dr. be so clueless? I would not expect this from a caring dr.
