Dr. Ulrich Prinz, MD

I'm so grateful to have Dr. Prinz on my father's health care team. He is patient, thorough, and practical in his approach. As a caregiver for someone with severe dementia, I appreciate how Dr. Prinz works with me to produce the best outcomes for my dad. He does not recommend overly invasive actions - treatments/procedures one might consider for a younger person with standard cognition, but that we could never manage given my dad's age and condition. appointments are easy to schedule whenever we need them, and Dr. Prinz is responsive via phone for follow up questions.

It wasn't. He is "not accepting new patients."

Very knowledgeable and after being a patient for more than 15 years I must say he has been a very good doctor. One excellent attribute of his is that he follows up to find out how you are doing after treatment, testing, etc.

Have been seeing Dr. Prinz for about 20 years, he is excellent Physician who never rushes you out and is willing to spend however much time is need to discuss overall health or treatment plans. Highly recommended.

Finding a doctor in DMV is not easy. I went to the web to find what kind of doctor I was looking for. The reviews did not lie. An easy style with care and understanding and gentle questions that created a dialogue rather than a one sided lecture. Highly highly recommend Dr. Prinz.

He is and will always will be my primary Doctor -- He is wonderful

I am so pleased with Dr. Prinz because of several reasons. First off he is kind, gentle, honest and trustworthy. I like his no nonsense approach, he is in my experience a very knowledgeable and skilled physician. He listens to what the patient has to say and is very respectful. I have full confidence in his diagnosis and medication management. His recommendation are excellent. I have been fortunate with his referral. First time in 44 years in States I have met one as excellent as such.

I have been a patient of Dr. Prinz for nearly 14 years. I have lived in Hyattsville MD for the last 6 years and still continue to go to VA for my exams. I completely trust Dr. Prinz.

Dr. Prinz has taken excellent care of both my parents for many years. I live out of state but on a recent visit to my mother's home, I experienced unusual abdominal pains. Dr. Prinz kindly made room in his schedule to see me right away after my mother called the office to request it (even though *I* was not a patient) and fortunately diagnosed with likely appendicitis, sending me to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy just in time to avert disaster. I will always be grateful.

I highly recommend Dr. Prinz. He always greets you in his office for a consultation before an exam. Afterwards, if there are options for your treatment, he explains them to you and allows your input to determine which one to try first. He treats you with empathy and dignity, and never leaves you with the impression that he is rushing through your appointment.

He sits down with you to talk before the exam. He does the vital signs, runs the tests, completes the exam- then sits down with you again to discuss your concerns. He is always on time. He calls you for follow-up, if your issue requires it.

Listened to my concerns, explained the problems in detail, and was truly interested. This is only a small portion of what I could enter.
