Saved my life
I had a heart attack and found out three of my arteries were blocked almost completely. My only option was a triple bypass CABG surgery which Dr. Spata performed at BS&W-College Station. I like the fact that he was patient with me and plainly explained all my options and possible outcomes. After surgery and while still in BS&W hospital recovery, Dr. Spata visited me every morning to check up on me and make any adjustments in medications or treatments as necessary. He's really a great guy and knowledgeable and professional surgeon. Thank you Dr. Spata for saving my life!

My grandfather who is 72 years old had a bypass surgery on August 22nd and Tyler did a very poor job. His incision got infected twice and he is still going through complications and hasn’t recovered at all since. He got a sternum bone infection that also possibly infected the thoracic duct. There is so much fluid built up in his chest. He’s also had a tube stuck in his lung since October and doc still doesn’t wanna take it out because of his blood thinner. Tyler, my grandfather is going through so much and you’re making it harder on him and the family. Do better, please.

I walked into the office very upset, I walked out after visiting with Dr. Spata with a true understanding of what was going on and felt that he had heard me, understood, and was giving me the best treatment.

We are so thankful to Dr. Spata and his team! He performed a double by pass surgery on my husband. He is a compassionate surgeon who takes the time to explain everything and make sure the family doesn’t have any questions pre and post operation.
