Dr Collins replaced my right shoulder several years ago and it’s perfect. I purposely sought him out when I knew it was time for the other shoulder replacement. He will do in August and I am confident he will do a great job as well. Caring and patient and confident, all of which is important going forward .

I was referred to Dr. Collins by an urgent care doctor that was concerned I tore a ligament in my knee. The urgent care doctor explained the tear may not always show on an X-ray, and I may need an MRI. Dr. Collins spent approximately five minutes with me, and determined I had a bone bruise (since he did not see anything on the xray). He told me it should heal in about a month. No further information was provided on care, or what to about the pain I was experiencing. When I asked what I should do about the pain he (reluctantly, it seemed) offered to prescribe a muscle relaxant, which I refused. I understand I am not an expert, so I will follow the (only) advice provided, which is that I should be healed in about a month. However, I will not be utilizing his services again. I prefer a doctor that will take a little more time with patients, and actively helps properly educate (instead of me searching the internet and trying to find factual information).

Horrible ‘doctor’
This man is abominable. When I saw him-1 and only visit- came in with bilateral knee pain- he walked in the room, asked what was wrong- he said ‘your knees look fine’- never touched me, and I was wearing long pants-didn’t ask any questions- ordered an MRI for left knee as that was the side I had the most pain- then he walked out. Less than 5 min. It felt as if I had interrupted his day with my appointment. Fast forward a week and he had entered the wrong information into my chart- wrong knee and put in my chart that he had given me bilateral knee injections. I finally got through after leaving multiple messages and spoke to his medical asst who acknowledged the wrong information had been put in my chart and would talk to the dr to get it corrected- after receiving the results of my MRI I waited to hear from Collins- NEVER heard back. He never went over my MRI results with me, did not return my call. I had to ask another doctor I see to decipher result. No cartilage left. Stay away!

Very nice
Saw Dr. Collins for the first time on Monday and he was very nice. He took his time to explain the situation and all of our options. He offered a couple of suggestions. He asked us if we had any questions and answered us carefully and completely. We never felt rushed. We would go back to him again.

After visiting Dr. Collins for the first time, he did not do a complete exam of my knee. He immediately recommended and MRI and I agreed. After the MRI, I went in for my follow up and the visit was just as brief. I was told my knee was inflamed and had scar tissue (things I already kne) and I could get injections or a scope. No other options were presented without asking about them myself. I felt like I was bothering him with my questions. He does not address the patient's exact problem or pain, but only what the imaging displays. I am very disappointed in my visit, I am frustrated and will not be returning. He acts very disinterested in helping you.

Dr. Collins acts rude and disinterested in nearly every appointment. Last week he was not forthcoming about MRI results I had already seen. Two other providers were able to tell me everything going on and now I’ll be getting my elbow fixed.

Doctor may be fine; scheduler (Meghan) is a disaster. Can never get hold of her. Takes a week for her to return phone calls - if she even returns them at all. Has been the sole cause for my delayed surgery. How the Doctor is able to function with this type of support staff is a mystery. She wouldn't last a day in most offices.

On the 23rd of Dec. 2016 I broke my shoulder, every doctor I called said they could not see me until after Christmas. I was in a lot of pain and of course the thought of my shoulder not being fixed and having to later have it re-broken frightened me. God bless Dr. Collin, he saw me right away, explained everything to me, did the surgery all before Christmas. I love this doctor,he has given me great service.

Dr. Collins was very patient, kind and professional during my office visit. I saw one of the other surgeons, but when it was determined I didn't need a total hip replacement that surgeon asked Dr. Collins to see me for evaluation. He worked me into his schedule and due the whole office's efficiency I was done in 1.5 hours with x-rays and 2 surgeon evaluations. He was committed to getting me back to the active lifestyle I had before without pain.

I had shoulder surgery by Dr Collins and could not be happier with my results. He is knowledgeable and personable. I saw several other doctors prior to choosing him and I'm glad I did! He did not try to force surgery right away like the others did. He gave me options.

this place is horrible!! And this Dr. was unprofessional and not very helpful. Spend no time with me. It is VERY difficult to find a decent Dr here in AZ. I will never be back to this place. The medical assistant told me to walk down the hall and weigh myself. The XRAY tech never even asked me if I was pregnant. I can go on and on..... The front desk person SLAMMED the clip board down. Please know that this place is not good.

Saw Dr. Collins for shoulder issue, having hardly any range of motion. Appt was less than 5 minutes; he never examined my shoulder or asked to see ROM, but immediately said I had a rotator cuff tear & needed surgery. No thanks! I had to ask for options; he suggested injections for pain, but I had already stated pain isn't a factor, just weakness & lack of ROM. Nightmare trying to get MRI scheduled & had to handle myself; they gave orders for wrong arm & argued about it. Many issues! Beware!
