Second time in a year I was seen by this joker. Bad experiences both times. Totally uncaring to say the least. He was as friendly as a porcupine and his bedside manner was awful. He didn't listen to me and added his own words, clearly not mine in my chart. Evidently BJC does not want to be upstanding in patient care or strive for excellence in patient care to keep this one on staff.

Unprofessional
I’ve been coming to this hospital for years. This is my hometown hospital I was born in this hospital and I’ve never had a bad experience with a on call dr or staff member here until now. This is the second time I have brought a family member here and had to deal with this arrogant man. He has no bedside manner and instead of addressing someone’s issue he wants to give them a lecture about using the emergency room. Shame on BJC for hiring this man.

Judgemental, Arrogant, Self-Righteous, and Awful
My sister who has chronic kidney issues came in to be seen because she has a kidney infection and active kidney stones and was in so much pain that she was vomiting. This 'doctor' took one look at her and because of her hair color and tattoos, judged her based on his perception of what he thought she was, and literally put in her chart that she was high risk for drug seeking. She's an upstanding woman and mother who has NEVER had a substance abuse problem, just chronic kidney issues. HER mistake was going to Missouri Baptist Sullivan Emergency Department. HIS mistake was becoming a doctor when he seems unwilling to remember, much less uphold his Hippocratic oath, based on his small-minded judgment, and seeming inability to correctly diagnosed or help a patient in pain, whose tests did show active stones and infection. Beware.

Trustworthy and Kind
Knowledgable, respectful, and empathetic. Especially considering he is working the graveyard shift. That doesn’t seem to affect the level of care he provides and I don’t think other people acknowledge that enough in those who decide to work those kind of hours. Thank you Dr. Adams! Happy to know we can get good care at all hours even all the way out here in Sullivan.

No empathy. He was in and out. Typical ER doctor. Really should try and listen to the patient.
