Dr. Tutse Tonwe, MD

ive know dr tonwe since he first started his practice and i'm as guilty as the rest for causing some of the long waiting periods because i would talk to him about everything. He was always trying to do to much and would check patients in the hospital prior to coming to the office which was usually the reason he would be late. i used to call/text him that we were boiling the pot of water and sharpening the knifes if he didnt get there. He had such a true deep laugh that now that he isnt practicing medicine will be missed. I always told him he would need to hurry because a lot of people were like myself and only had one day off. I meet a lot of very nice people sitting in his waiting room and not seeing him on my visits now hurt. i would wait all day again just to have him back

Dr. Tonwe was my doctor for 18 years! Best doctor I've ever had! Even though I was seen after my schedule time, I always knew it was worth it because Dr. Tonwe is a wonderful person who always takes good care of his patients and took his time explaining and answering all you questions. I always recommended Dr. Tonwe to all my friends and family I always knew they would be in good hands.

Well I thought things would be better since he closed his Milford De office and only has his Dover De office. The Milford office he would be so backed up if your appt was at 2 you would not get out until after 5pm. Then today 5/4/2016 my client had and appt scheduled for 9am. So at 930am I asked the receptionist what time will he be in. She stated he usually comes right away if I text or call to let him know he has patients waiting. It's now 11:15 and Dr tonwe is still an no show

Appointment was set at 9:30am. Dr. Tonwe was 1hour and 20 min late. The receptionist had to call him and remind him of his work schedule for the day! Not happy at all.
