Follow up care that never happened.....
Not by provider but office staff - specifically trying to get diagnostic studies scheduled. Called office several times and left messages with person who schedule's surgery and other procedures and never heard back. I have one hernia, possibly two but will look elsewhere for a provider and staff who can follow through. Should not have to wait as long as I have to get a diagnostic test in order to move forward in getting issues resolved.

Last February, Dr. Ferguson pretty much saved my life. I needed a temporary colostomy and, four months later, he performed that surgery too. I was impressed with him both times, and with the care I received from him between the surgeries. He's a really nice guy and a great surgeon, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

He was very rushed and I spent more time with his resident than him. I never saw home postoperatively and he seemed extremely distracted from my visit. I would not recommend Dr Ferguson to anyone. He made me very uncomfortable and undervalued.

Dr Ferguson is professional, knowledgeable, and had a great course of recommended action. I am an RN and my sister who’s an NP helped me select a doctor. He took my concern seriously and was interested in my entire health as a whole, which is always a sign of an excellent doctor. I would absolutely refer my friends and family to this doctor.

I saw Dr Ferguson at his surgical office in Lansing for a consultation for a skin lesion. My afternoon appointment was changed to the morning by his office staff saying he needed the afternoon off. The waiting room was packed with patients at 8:45. I didn’t see the doctor until 10:25. I didn’t think he was taking my medical concern seriously. I selected another surgeon.

I had a very painful gallbladder attack, I had 2 ultrasounds in Marshall, showing nothing & ER kept sending me home. Finally, Charlotte ER told Dr. Ferguson about my situation. Within 5 days I was scheduled for surgery. Upon my arrival for scheduled for 1 pm I was out by 3 pm.
