I met briefly with Dr. B to discuss a possible catheter ablation. He wanted me to take Eliquis before and after the procedure. I asked about side effects and Dr. Bahnson said I should not go bungee jumping and should not notice any side effects. I did my own research and learned that when you stop taking Eliquis, you have a much higher than normal chance of having a clot or stroke during the 30 days after you stop taking it. The "rebound effect" that occurs with most drugs. Too dangerous.

My experience with Dr. Bahnson, his staff and Duke have been exceptional. He recently performed my ablation for AF. It is always evident that Dr. Bahnson’s knowledge and experience ranks among the very best. I would highly recommend him and Duke.
