Extremely knowledgeable, correctly diagnosed and saw that I was given the serious and time sensitive care needed. I am so impressed, grateful and overwhelmed by her skill and care.

The world does not wait for you, show up on time!
If you can't come to an appointment on time, use a different doctor. If you don't care that a doctor has back to back to back appointments and you being late has a domino effect making all their following appointments late, find a different doctor. If you can actually show up to a doctors appointment on time then Dr. Cavanaugh is great.

Does not care about your time
Dr Tricia Cavanaugh does not see her patients if they are 10 minutes late. It should be stated somewhere before an appointment is scheduled.

When I finally got to see her as a new patient she lived up to her five star rating. I would certainly recommend her to anyone seeking a new physician but would have to warn them that the practice is overwhelmed it seems with appointment openings.

She is both thorough and caring
I had not seen a general practice doctor in years. She was thorough in her review of the history and issues, asked good questions and prescribed necessary tests - she reviewed the results both in writing and in a follow up visit - clearly identifying next steps. She impresses me as both professionally competent and caring.

I waited a week to get an appointment for my 17 year old daughter. She was coming from work so I told her I would meet her there. It was her first appointment with this practice. She went to the wrong location and was 7minutes late. Dr. Cavanaugh told the front desk to reschedule her and refused to see her, even though I explained she was having an health issue and really needed to be seen and I took the day off from work to accompany her. The Dr’s response was to take her to a urgent care center. We can wait weeks for an appointment and sit in the waiting room much longer than 7 minutes, but get turned away for 7 minutes. I have never experienced anything like this before. I would not recommend seeing this Doctor!!! I switched to a different Dr. for my daughter and now have to wait another week to be seen. I find that To be very Un responsible

Dr. Cavanaugh is an exceptional doctor who truly cares about the wellbeing of her patients. I feel as though she is a tremendous asset to any doctors office. When she was practicing at Abington Family Medicine she really took extremely good care of me and literally saved my life. The only reason in which I am not current patient is because the office in which she practices is too far away from me being as though I don’t drive. I would gladly recommend Dr. Cavanaugh without hesitation. I wish that she was able to read this because I want her to be closer. She is not only a doctor but a friend. Kudos

I am a 64 year old male that scheduled a routine physical exam with Dr. Cavanaugh and am very disappointed. No blood work to detect PSA level even though the last test was two years ago, and no discussion about prostrate health. Told DR. Cavanaugh there is a history of kidney cancer with two family members and no blood work or urine test were ordered even though I explained that is how it was detected in one family member. Will not be seeing Dr. Cavanaugh again.
