Dr. Trevor Barronian, MD

After months of being put off by Kaiser Drs who delayed MRIs and any sort of treatment plan aside from cortisone and pt that wasn't working, Dr Barronian came up with a plan to do something about my underlying issues. He was not condescending like Kaiser Drs. He listened to me and took all the evidence into consideration. He was kind and answered all my questions happily. I only had to wait a week for an appt instead of three months. Skip Kaiser and go here, esp if you are in pain. No one deserves to be in so much pain waiting three months for each office visit while they shuffle you around to subpar doctors and your body deteriorates. Initially, I was wary because of bad y e l p reviews. I think those were about front desk folks. But I had none of those issues either....they were all professional and efficient. Got me in sooner than my appt time even because we showed up early.

I have been working with Dr. Barronian for a few years. He replaced my left hip. Wonderful experience. He is so great about explaining everything. Went in this week to get a read on my right hip. Again, a very positive experience with a very professionaland personable provider!

Dr. Barronian took over my care after my surgeon retired. Dr. B listened patiently, examined me carefully, and maintained a friendly yet professional demeanor.

Promptness, thorough exam, willingness to answer questions, professional and caring manner. I felt very comfortable and confident during the appt, as well as the diagnosis and treatment plan. He's a keeper, for sure!

Dr. Barronian was extremely efficient and thorough in assimilating my previous medical history from another state so that I could begin having my hip and back pain treated at Olympia Orthopedics. He established a good treatment plan and got me connected to other services (Physical Therapy, Spine Clinic). I feel my care is in good hands and I’m hopeful for future improvement in my situation.

Dr Barronian and his team were extremely thorough in guiding me through the upcoming procedure I will experience. Pluses and negatives were clearly explained in an understandable format. I have a complete comfort level going forward.

He carefully explains all the options of the surgery. My knee revision is going to take two surgeries, and the first one is now completed very successfully and I feel he has a high level of competence. I feel very good about having him do my knee revision.

Dr Trevor Barronian performed a left knee replacement. From our first meeting I felt he truly cared and eased any fears I had. He is compassionate and relates very well in explaining exactly what my procedure would entail. My surgery was total perfection. I experienced minimal pain and all of my follow up appointments were explained regarding my progress in a very down to earth manner by Dr Barronian. He was always receptive in answering any and all of my questions and I never once felt like “just a number”. I just had my final x ray and of course everything showed up as perfection. All of Dr Barronian’s medical team are also caring professionals. I was always greeted with a welcoming smile and a friendly attitude. Dr Barronian and his team are “The Best” and highly recommended. Two years ago, when residing in another state, I had a complete hip replacement following a fall. The discomfort I felt after that surgery never went away, but rather, worsened. I tried physical therapy, but upon consultation with Olympia Orthopedic and x-rays, it was clear that the problem was that the cement holding the prosthetic in place had eroded and so was not stable. In March (2024) Dr. Barronian performed a hip revision—a redo of the unsuccessful previous surgery. It was a complicated surgery, but necessary and I am thrilled and grateful for the result. 6 months post surgery, I was hiking in Spain and reflecting on my appreciation for Dr. Barronian’s expertise and skill. Dr. Barronian has always communicated well—explaining the problem, articulating the process, listening to my questions, and answering fully. He is kind and willing to take time to meet the need for understanding. I fully recommend him!

I had the option to choose from 5 surgeons without having previous experience with any of them. I consulted with my doctor and she told me that she would trust Trevor Barronian to do this procedure on her mother or herself (hip replacement). From my first visit with him, I knew I had made the right choice. Surgery outcome was better than I had expected. Post surgery he and his staff supported, and encouraged me through every phase. He is an amazing surgeon and I would (as my doctor stated) trust him with my 92 yr old mom.

Dr. Barronian is a patient caring doctor who listens then ask clarifying questions to make sure that the actual issue is identified. All that being said he and his colleagues have provided top notch care for me.

Dr Barronian took time to go thru all aspects of the procedure-(good and bad). Informed me of process. Entire staff was friendly and informative. Maybe I’ll give 6 stars after surgery is completed successfully.!

From my first appointment he was informative, told me exactly what to expect, and answered any questions I had. Now that I am past the 6 month mark on hip replacement I’m doing exactly (if not better) as he said I would. I would recommend him to anyone.
