Dr. Trenton Moyer, MD

As a patient for 13 years, Dr. Moyer has always provided me with the best care. He's always taken the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. He's very knowledgeable and his advice and treatments have been spot on. I'm very grateful for his care.

I saw Dr. Moyer for 13 years and found him to be competent and skilled. What he never told me, however, is that he didn't accept Medicare. When I turned 65 everything just STOPPED! After 13 years together, there was no discussion of termination or transition, no referral to another physician, no advice on managing the numerous medications I was on and definitely no goodbye. I never saw him or spoke with him again, after what I thought was just a routine visit. I was shocked, hurt, baffled, scared and, finally, very angry. I hope this never happens to another patient but don't really believe he will change. He is a great doctor if you are young and don't mind being overmedicated.

Dr. Moyer knows the meds he routinely prescribes well and sticks to the same meds he prescribes. He doesn't give me an opportunity to direct the conversation once he starts talking about himself. He loves to talk about all kinds of personal stuff. He sometimes just chats with me on random trivial stuff (we have some of the same interests) but his chats take up my 15 min appt.

This doctor was one of the most uncaring providers I have met. He seemed annoyed and rushed through the appointment. I refuse to beg and negotiate for help for a medical provider to listen and provide the appropriate treatment. He took the Hippocratic Oath to uphold a high medical standard to be ethical and heal.

I saw Dr. Moyer to get help for the issues I'm having, not to get a friend or hear him talk about himself. He would ask me questions only to give a similar story about himself. He is in more interested in hearing the sound of his voice then listening to my concerns. My appointment was about listening to him talk about his investments and life. After he was done talking about himself he ended the appointment and prescribed meds that I have no idea why he chose.

The man has a terrible personality. I had the displeasure of having to deal with this doctor. He is not worth talking to. Real psychiatrists show consideration and compassion for their patients. I absolutely would not recommend him to my family or my friends out of respect for them.

Very bad experience with Moyer.He seems like he doesn't care and doesn't listen to his patients.He mostly cares of what kind of insurance do his patients have.He rushes all his visits and his body language is very horrible.They call him (1 minute Moyer) in Sharp Mesa vista hospital because that is the time he spends with all his patients in this hospital.

Poor bedside manner. During my 2 appointments with him he was distracted by his phone and computer throughout the visit. Not a good listener and very quick to give a new prescription prior to even listening. Seems he wants you out of the office quick.

Dr. Moyer is a fantastic psychiatrist. He’s ontime, flexible, honest, trustworthy, and understands that not all medications work the same as for others. He is very knowledgeable in the newer medications and try’s very hard to make sure you are on the proper dosage and medication for each individual. I have been seeing Dr Moyer for many years now. I am a very happy patient now with his exceptional help. Dr. Moyer is a top notch psychiatrist.

I have been going to see Dr. Moyer for years and have been sober for 9 1/2 years under his care. I would recommend him to anyone who is suffering from an addiction disease. His professionalism and kindness has guided me through many ups and downs and his quick response to scheduling or just a call back has never failed me. He is The Best in the industry of Psychiatry and I have recommended him to many family and friends.

On our first appointment this guy called me a drug addict for no reason he had no reason to jump to that conclusion but he did and I found it offensive so I left. I'm pretty far from a drug addict and for him to make that judgement without even evaluating me is to me very unprofessional. I have a neurogical condition that impairs me but he jumped to the conclusion im a druggie based on the way my condition impairs me, which I find very for lack of better words, dumb.
