Home health nurse commented how nice toenails look now. Appreciate the physician calling me while my aunt was there to go over the plan of treatment. He was very thorough.

Quick exam but informative and agreed on proposed treatment plan. Options given if that doesn't work.

Beyond Inappropriate
In his first visit to my son hospitalized for cellulitis in his foot (and on the autistic spectrum and having very strong social anxiety issues), before a specialist in infectious diseases had yet to be so much as consulted, to explain the process for a skin graft told him he could lose his leg, he would remain hospitalized for weeks, and berated him for inattentive diabetic care. I have personal experience in this process and know very well specialists need to be brought in before surgery: amputation is the LAST option. Infectious disease and wound care specialists must be consulted before any maiming should be decided upon. I am making it clear this is the last person I want near my son again. You look the type to read your own reviews so I'll take a moment to point out after over 22 years of doing this you should have gained some bedtime manners - would you enjoy having your children treated so? Couldn't you take a simple moment to understand who you speak to? Can you feel shame?

Dr. Venner was quick to provide a "doom and gloom" outlook for my foot condition. I didn't feel right about his suggestion after leaving, and sought a second opinion, and I'm so happy I did! I'm scheduled to have a MUCH less invasive surgery than Dr. Venner suggested, with a shorter recovery time, and no chance of a returning issue (which Dr. Venner was adamant would happen). Do yourself a favor, and get a second opinion.

I would recommend and have Dr. Venner to all that need bunion correction. He truly is the Best!!!!! Very informative, prompt and the best at it!!!!! For the first 2-3 days after each of my bunion surgery I didn't like him very much. :( He really is awesome and I am anxious to get back into my cute shoes/heels.
