She is an excellent physician who listens to you. She’s hard to get into due to being busy but once you see her you will understand why she is so busy. A rare find these days

The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because I think part of the problem is Samaritan Health services. These poor doctors are not given enough time between each patient to fully and respectfully give the necessary care. Otherwise, Dr. Hume may be a better doctor if in a different environment.

She listens and provides advice and care to encourage her patients to healthier lifestyles, as opposed to simply prescribing medications that mask the symptoms. When Dr. Hume is treating you, it feels like you are the only patient she has. Very thorough, professional and efficient with a friendly demeanor. She has time for patient questions and gives very thorough and complete answers.

My elderly father, with a history of cancer, started having acute shoulder pain several months back. After scheduling delay, after delay, after delay, he received an Xray and a physical therapy appointment. The PT told him he needed an MRI for an actual diagnosis. Again, delay, after delay. Had the MRI. Cancer. Now another delay due to miscoding and more waiting for them to correct it so he can have a Petscan to diagnose what kind of cancer. This office needs to get it together.

Dr Hume was my Dads primary doctor and she was amazing! I would take him to his appointments with a long list of questions and concerns and she made sure to cover everything throughly for me to understand.. She returns phone calls promptly and we had complete trust in her over seeing my dads health.. After my Dad passed away she called me to make sure that me and my family were doing okay an told me how much she adored my dad.. she cares about her patients and their families. Thank you Dr. Hume
