Always Outstanding Care
I have been battling cancer for almost 14 years and Dr. D’Entremont is one of the best oncologist I have had involved in my care. She is very much engaged in my treatment plan, extremely knowledgeable and provides clear answers to all my questions. She takes time with me and truly cares about me as a patient. In addition to Dr. D’Entremont, her NP’s, (Jean and Patty), the nurses and front desk staff are wonderful. Their warmth, friendliness, responsiveness and support make the burden of dealing with a difficult illness that much easier and make my frequent appointments something I don’t dread. I am grateful to be under their care and credit them for keeping me going and fighting!

She's checked out
This woman in my opinion just doesn't care about her job. She does not read charts. She did not know I was BRCA1 positive, it's IN MY CHART, this tells me she doesn't read charts or notes. She documented in my notes cancer that doesn't exist in that part of my body. I constantly had to threaten to stop chemo to get her to pay attention to anything. After not listening to me about a horrible side effect of a medication, I finally switched oncologists. She let me suffer tremendously during my first round of AC chemo. I felt like I was medically assaulted. This Dr. likes to slap patients on the chemo conveyor belt and forget about them. I truly had high hopes for this Dr. I know my experience isn't isolated as I asked another patient if she was sloppy with their documentation, this Dr. noted this patient had her husband with her, SHE HAD HER SISTER. I'm working full time while going through cancer treatment, I don't make the documentation errors this Dr makes.

She seemed curt when asked questions and first mentioned treatment with an estrogen inhibitor and then changed her mind. There was no explanation as to why she felt this was appropriate. Maybe a case of transference? Doctors should be more informative especially in serious cases that affect lives. Way to go Penn Medicine, lowering the ranks.

Given the severity of the disease she treats, I am always impressed by her professionalism and the personal care he provides. I could not ask for a better caregiver. The staff always knows how to get the appropriate appointment depending on your complications. Always greeted by name, treated with utmost respect.
