Dr. Tomeka Roberts, MD

Sooooo glad to have her recommended to me for my care. I saw as a new patient in February 2024. I was defeated because my previous providers had no answers besides lose weight. Dr. Roberts listened to my concerns and got to work IMMEDIATELY. There were no long wait times and she was extremely responsive to everything I need. Providers like her a dime a dozen and I'm so glad to have her as my GYN.

I am so blessed to have Dr. Tomeka Roberts, MD as my OBGYN. Her and her entire staff are all worthy of praise. They are the true definition of an All-Star team. During my 2nd consultation for fibroid removal, Dr. Roberts made all of my feelings of uncertainty about my upcoming surgery go completely away. She is a doctor who truly cares about her patient's. As a OBGYN & surgeon Dr. Roberts is knowledgeable, professional, sincere, reassuring, articulate and definitely has a way of I'm sure making all of her patient's feel right at home. I know that I am! Dr. Roberts and her staff was very welcoming from the time I signed in until I left. Dr. Tomeka Roberts sits and listens to your concerns and does not rush you.

Doctor Roberts told me I needed surgery immediately. I asked for a copy of my records the next day to get a second opinion and the surgery coordinator called me to ask why I got a copy of my records when she recognized my name when my records were printed. When I mentioned getting a second opinion before jumping to surgery she was dismissive and rude and canceled my scheduled surgery.

She was so sweet and approachable. I can tell she cares about her patients and loves what she does. Very friendly staff and quick with getting patients in and out.

I needed to be seen and there were no available appointments for 2 months. I was gravely concerned about my health. A cancellation became available I was called an appointment was made within a day. Thumbs up to clerical staff.

Dr Roberts is an excellent doctor. She is very thorough, takes her time to listen to your concerns, and is an advocate for your needs. I just wish she still delivered babies.

Dr. Robert has been one of the greatest GYN doctors with a great bedside manner very friendly staff and clean facility. She’s a wonderful doctor. She listens very well, and she put forth one of the best effort to get to the root of the problem.

The office staff is very attentive and they are timely with appointments. Dr. Robert medical staff especially Crystal is very personable and I feel welcomed. They update the portal in a timely manner as well. I feel heard and understood.

I have been seeing Dr Roberts for 10 years or so. I always appreciate how well organized the staff is. They make sure you get through the process with a minimal wait time.

I have seen Dr Robert’s twice. I find both She and her staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. She seems to be a great fit for my gyn needs at this stage of my life. Would feel very comfortable recommending her to my friends.

She’s a loser. She is good at putting up a front/act but when you disagree with her she will send you a letter dismissing you from her clinic and anyone affiliated with her.

I love Dr. Roberts! I started seeing her around 2005 and she delivered my twins. Always sweet and caring!

Would never recommend Dr Roberts or St Vincents. They will maniputlate the well visit and bill your insurance for services that are covered at other hospitals.

Dr. Roberts is friendly, but when it came down to pertinent information such as referrals, test results and other information regarding the complexities of my condition being communicated to the maternal fetal medicine specialist, it was never done in a timely manner. Her nurse often blantanly lied when I questioned these matters. When I addressed this with Dr. Roberts, she kindly stated that she can refer me to a doctor who will act as both OB and meternal fetal medicine specialist at UAB.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Roberts. She is professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!
