I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Ruda and the exceptional care I’ve received as her patient over the past 12 years. I’ve been so impressed with her expertise and compassionate care that I’ve followed her through three practices. That alone speaks volumes about my trust and respect for her as a physician.From the moment I step into her office, I feel valued and heard. Dr. Ruda’s ability to listen attentively, address all of my concerns, and explain every step of my treatment in a way that’s easy to understand is truly remarkable. Her approach to patient care is compassionate, thorough, and incredibly professional. Dr. Ruda is not only knowledgeable and skilled but also genuinely invested in the well-being of her patients. The level of trust I have in her expertise is unmatched. I’m so grateful to have a primary care physician who goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care Dr. Ruda, thank you for being such a fantastic doctor!

This doctor's office is an absolute nightmare! I've never encountered such unprofessional, uncaring, and downright heartless treatment from medical staff in my entire life.Let's start with the fact that I booked a new patient appointment three months ago. It's frustrating, but I understand that healthcare practices might be overwhelmed, especially post-COVID.Despite the rainy, slushy weather on the day of my appointment, I braved the elements because I had already paid my copay and had an urgent need for a diagnostic mammogram script due to a concerning breast lump found by my out-of-network OBGYN.Prior to my appointment, I had already called Advocate Group and tried to book the mammogram using the script from my OBGYN. However, they refused it and insisted I needed one from my in-network PCP. Given my family history of early breast cancer, I was highly motivated to make this appointment with Dr. Ruda despite the dreadful weather.I left an hour early, enduring bumper-to-bumper

An hour late to appointment with no apology then rushed our appointment and did not allow any questions. Refused to do bloodwork requested by my gynecologist. Unfriendly and not personable, overall curated an uncomfortable experience.

Takes her time, very calming and understanding. I like how she looks to fix a problem and doesn't push prescriptions as an answer. Appreciate how her appointments never feel rushed like most doctors.

I have been seeing Dr. Ruda for years and I cannot say enough good things about my experience as her patient. She has a great bedside manner and always takes her time gathering all of the details to provide an informed perspective. I also greatly appreciate her respect and use of western and eastern treatments. Dr. Ruda has been by my side and helped me address several health challenges over the years - I have complete trust in her.

Dr. Ruda is kind, patient, and an excellent listener. She clearly cares about her patients and their well-being. Dr. Ruda takes the time to try to understand her patients holistically, and does a wonderful job explaining any recommendations for treatment. She has such a calming presence, and I’ve never felt rushed in her office. I have been fortunate to have had other good doctors over the years, but Dr. Ruda is far and away my favorite.

I had high expectations for Dr. Ruda and ended up having one of the more traumatizing experiences I've had with a doctor. From the get-go, I felt that I was rushed through the appointments. At our first appointment, I was told that because the initial intake process took a long time, she was behind schedule and had kept others waiting. This was said to me with a glare as if it was my fault; I was not deliberately "slow" and I had technically "arrived" (remotely) on time without knowing how long the intake process would take. Later on in another visit she cut me off with "I'm just going to fast forward you here..." I wasn't rambling, I was just talking. I asked about getting tested for a common mental health disorder; she responded rudely, "Why do you want to be tested if we're already treating the symptoms?" I did not feel heard or seen by Dr. Ruda and instead got VERY strong vibes that she just did not like me. I will not forget how ashamed and belittled she made me feel.

Dr. Ruda is incredible, so calming, informative and really takes her time to explain what’s going on in your body. Now that she has switched to Advocate Health, there are ample appointments available again with her, so waiting time for an appointment is very little. (A friend I recommended just scheduled her first ever appt with her for next week, for example). You will not regret having her as your primary doctor— my husband and I both go to her. Life changing for sure.

Dr. Ruda is a wonderful doctor who really takes her time to explain every detail when you visit her, and she has a very calming presence. However, it is almost impossible to get an appointment with her even if you are an established patient. I have had three instances this year where I've tried to schedule an appointment for a couple of different health concerns, and each time was told she was unavailable for the week and to see urgent care. Unfortunately, even with my insurance urgent care costs are expensive. I'm sad to say that I've had to leave Dr. Ruda and search for another doctor for my primary care, but it is ridiculous that she has very little availability.

Dr. Ruda is a very thorough Dr. She always made sure I understood what procedures were done and why they were done. She explained things until I fully understood. She also was very thorough with my daughters who dreaded going to the Dr. She made them feel comfortable and at ease and spoke to them like they had common sense. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.
