Medical Gaslighting
I have been dealing with a mystery illness that has left me suffocating 24/7 and with dysphagia. I am young, so I often get dismissed and it’s infuriating. My breathing had declined so severely one night I opted to go to the hospital. He laughed at me and said it “was all in my head” and I “should be thankful I’m a perfectly healthy young woman.” Spoke to my primary doctor about the incident once I saw her again, I didn’t even get to finish my story and she already knew who I was talking about. Said he was supposed to be replaced long ago but couldn’t find anyone to.

Rude, arrogant and disrespectful. He was rough, and had no compassion with my elderly dad
