I can’t honestly say. I never saw Dr. Hockenbury. I didn’t go past his rude and unprofessional front office staff. They sure did not instill confidence. Waited for over an hour for nothing.

I would highly recommend Dr. Hockenbury and his office. He is very professional, kind and took plenty time at my appointment and before surgery. His staff is wonderful and friendly. Have not had any issues with wait time, about 5-10 minutes, at most. Will definitely have him do corrective surgery on my other foot.

Dr. Hockenbury performed surgery on my daughter in 2018 while she was a college athlete. She recovered quickly during the off season and didn't miss a game. She is still doing well and has not needed any further treatments. He's an amazing surgeon.

Since Dr. .Hockenbury performed surgery on my left food, I am now considered cripple. Could not do anything legally because of the insurance doctors have these days to cover their goofs, but I live each day with balance problems and have fallen due to his goof and had a concussion and live the rest of my life walk with a gimp. He was always more interested in impressing students than he was to me as a patient. I found arrogant to the point of not even saying he was sorry.

Sat in waiting room 90 minutes past appointment time before being taken back where we waited another hour. Saw a resident who seemed dismissive of symptoms and said everything looked fine until doctor came in and looked for less than 5 minutes saw the significant weakening and multiple possible issues. Of course, we told to get MRIs and come back in 2 weeks. Since we were kept waiting so long it was after hours and no appointments could be made. Two days later they still haven't called.

Seen resident Dr. first and reviewed x-rays. Nothing abnormal with bone. Dr. Hockenburry came in and aseemed unconcerned until visually examining ankle. Went back 2 weeks later for review of MRI. Sat back in exam room for over 2 hours. No one came to check on me or give me any info. I left at 5pm. Supposidly Dr. was called to surgery earlier, even though he was in the hallway when they initially took me back. Someone should have said something or rescheduled appointments. very unprofessional
