Dr. Todd Firmatura, MD

Never could get anyone on the phone. When I finally went for an appointment Dr. Firmatura seem to be in a hurry and just not concerned. Thankfully he's moving his practice to Jacksonville. Glad to see him leave.

Very disappointed! I don't think I will return hehas not approved my refill medication First visitwent well. 3rd visit he did nothing, not even a suggestion. 4th visit he wanted to redo a thyroid test when he told me the 1st thyroid was fine, not cause of exteme fatigue. I asked if he and 3 others Dr did the test and my thyroid was fine and I've had this fatigue for over 2 years, why would my thyroid cause the tiredness when it is fine. Why test it again, something else must be causing the fatigue. He then ask what do you want done, see a therapist, or what. He then became rushed and dismissed me. I do not understand why doctors repeat a test over and over & over when the test prove that is not the cause. Why do they not look for other reasons instead of repeating a negative test over and over. Do current doctors have a one track mind? If they don't find a reason for the symptoms, they do it over & over. Do they only know one thing for any symptom?? I cannot, recommend him.

I was in the medical field many years. Dr. Firmatura always listens to both my husband and myself and answers any question we have about any conditions or medications we are to take. I trust him completely with our care. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a Doctor that really cares about his patients.

I wouldn't recommend them for my dog if they were a vet clinic. The nurse lies and falsified a document saying she called and left a voice-mail when in fact there was no voice-mail on my phone nor no such call in my phone logs. If she had called I would have answered. Now I do not have a doctor so I will stop taking medications because I can't get refills nor get A1C rechecked. I don't know why JRMC can't get good doctors. My wife has now canceled her appointments with them.
