Dr. Alexander was great!! He had to come to the hospital on a Sunday morning to see me. Plus, his staff had to help get a second CT approved by Humana when it was first denied. His staff was very helpful during this stressful time. During his office visit he was informative and answered all our questions. He is an awesome doctor.

Dr Alexander reviewed the results of my laterst MRI after he successfully removed a benign brain tumor in March of this year. I again express my gratitude to him for giving me my life back. He answered all of my questions patiently with no rush.

Unfortunately I had to another back surgery. I waited until I could get in to see Dr Alexander who preformed the surgery at the end of January. I couldn't be happier with the result of the surgery, going back to work and I feel great. He is a excellent Doctor.

This was my second post op visit. I received excellent care and service from Dr. Alexander and his staff while hospitalized. I very highly recommend him/them. After meeting in ER, I was very impressed with his obvious knowledge, compassion and taking the time to explain procedure and what to expect. Dr Alexander stayed with me and gave me the assurance I needed to feel okay with what needed to be done in surgery. It was a very sudden, scary and traumatic incident but I felt very comfortable knowing I was in his hands. He got high praises too from many of his fellow associates at St. Anthony hospital. That only served to affirm my faith in him and that I would be just fine.

I was told Dr. Alexander is a good doctor. From personal experience, I would have to disagree. Supposedly, he's a great surgeon, but I will never know firsthand. He was not at all personable. I found him to be so unpleasant and unfriendly during my appointment that I switched to a different doctor. He acted irritated and annoyed with my presence. He didn't explain the surgery procedure, bringing me zero comfort in my options. He basically told me to do whatever I wanted in terms of my herniated disc, which wasn't at all reassuring. I left with more questions and concerns than I went in with. The entire experience with him made me feel very deflated and hopeless.

Dr. Alexander is a brilliant, skilled surgeon who removed a tumor entwined with nerves in my spinal cord. I didn't need to go to UW or Mayo Clinic to have an excellent surgeon! Dr. Alexander is the reason I'm recovering quickly and walking today! I can't thank this man enough and will be forever grateful for his expertise!

His bedside manner is very very poor. He treated my husband very bad. He told us that he didn’t care if my husband became Paralyze . His surgery went good. But the after care was very very poor. I don’t recommend Him.

DO NOT call these people if you are looking for a second opinion. They will take your name and say they will look at your records and call you back. Finally, when they call you back two weeks later, you get to talk with a rude snotty nurse who tells you the Dr. doesn't do second opinions. Wow, you could have told me that two weeks ago! Don't waste your time with this doctor.. I was warned by two different people his bedside manners are terrible and he proved it.
