Great Doc!
Caring. Remembers you even if its been a year. With any doctor, you need to be proactive and ask all the questions you have. He has always been very patient with me and all my 100 questions.

Excellent caring physician - great follow up
He cared for my dad for years and now cares for my husband - both of whom had very complex medical issues. Dr. Matthew provides excellent care and is able to get resources like home health and refers to specialists when needed. Some physicians do not have the staff or interest to handle the volumes of paperwork that something like home health requires. Dr. Matthew does not hesitate.

Awful
Dr. Mathew saw my son for symptoms of crushing grief due to the loss of his dad. Instead of referring him to grief counseling, he prescribed a heavy duty antidepressant. This medication causes hair loss & the doctor never mentioned it or followed up with my son to see how he was doing. Instead, a year into his careless prescribing, he upped his dose from 5mm to 10 mm. That’s when his hair started thinning. It took us months to figure out what was causing it. When my son got off of it, he suffered severe withdrawal symptoms which landed him in the hospital. All this trouble because Dr. Mathew couldn’t take the time or be insightful enough to realize talk therapy would have been a healthier option. Thankfully, his hair is thickening up again. Dr. Mathew should think of patients as his own family members. How would he feel if it was his son!!!

I started going to Dr Mathew a few years ago when my TP retired. I have been very happy being treated by him. I honestly cannot think of a single negative aspect of his care.

I have been seeing Dr. Mathew for a few years regarding a chronic issue that I have. It's sometimes hard when you have a chronic condition to find doctors you trust, but Dr. Mathew is very responsive and caring. He's passionate about my well-being and has been a great advocate for me. He asks me questions about my life and remembers certain things about me, so I feel like we have a personal relationship as well. I would recommend him to anyone as a primary care doctor. He's been great!

His temperament, personality, and bedside manner are terrible. He is extremely disrespectful, as well as argumentative. He has no time for your issues & concerns. His top skills are prescribing more meds for you, as well as berating you. I recommend looking for another physician if these things matter to you.

He's prompt; he's a Good Listener; He's Unintimidating, easy to talk to about sensitive issues and he's smart. He quickly relaxed me about a problem that was new to me and was VERY quick analyzing test results and getting back to me that, in fact - his initial feedback was correct. I hate having to go to the doctor, but it didn't take long to appreciate Dr. Mathew as a good find.
