Dr. Tina Rutar, MD

Dr.Rutar only checks what she is concerned about and even that seems like she does it because she has to, there is no clear interest in the patient's health. She never responds to patients' concerns, and I go back home with unanswered questions and worry about what might be happening to my eye. She needs to respond and look into the patient's concerns not just what she wants. In my last appointment, she talked more with her assistant than she did with me, she didn't even say that I could go or a closure to my appointment, she simply talked to her assistant about what to type in that computer and looked at me like I am a stupid just sitting ther. Never seen any doctor do this. She simply seems very reckless to her patients. I moved onto other doctor but wanted to leave the review as I heard from my cousin that she is experiencing the same and also that Dr.Rutar instead of looking more into why something is happening she just started prescribing lots of different medicines.

First got there and staffed ignored me for several minutes then doctors quickly diagnosed and walked out. Unfortunately the only pediatric ophthalmologist close.

Will not recommend or return after countless problems and not being treating very well in office. This is my honest review. I can’t be any nicer.

Tina Rutar was great with my daughter & we are so happy to have her for our ophthalmologist. She is very knowledgeable & goes above and beyond for my daughters care.

I cannot imagine what could have been better with my experience with minor surgery by Dr. Rutar. In fact, the nurse and office personnel were also exceptional, it seems like a group with a very positive synergy.

Dr. Rutar saw my daughter and operated on her within the month. I've never seen a doctor so capable of working with toddlers! She's amazing!!! the best we could have asked for incorporating play into analyzing my daughter's eye sight. The follow-up after surgery was wonderful too. Thanks so much.
