I came into Urgent care and saw Dr. Kosakyan. I was having intense sciatica pain in my right leg.Normally when I was pregnant, with a few stretches it would go away. This did not. I just had 2 babies back to back, and yes has gained some weight. One of the first things she brings up is my weight. She has a nurse come in and administer a anti-inflammatory shot, which worked. She also had me go in for x-rays. Her explanation of the results is that I had osteoarthritis, due to my weight. Something inside told me she was wrong. I went Back and saw a different doctor, actually a P.A. by this time my foot stopped working (drop foot). I told the PA what was happening... got an MRI done... I had a huge cyst on my Sciatic Nerve and 2 slipped disks. Talk about missed diagnosed. I was scheduled for back surgery 2 weeks later. That's how serious it was. If I had listened to her, I would be in a wheel chair for the rest of my life.
