I recently had hysterectomy done with Dr. Weiss, and I couldn't be more grateful for the experience. From the very first consultation, Dr. Weiss was professional, thorough, and compassionate, taking the time to explain every detail of the procedure and answering all my questions with care.The entire process—from pre-op to post-op—was seamless, and I felt supported at every step. Dr. Weiss is not only an expert in their field but also genuinely cares about their patients, making me feel confident and well taken care of.A special shout-out to the staff for their exceptional service. The nurses, receptionists, and medical assistants were all friendly, attentive, and made sure that I felt comfortable and informed throughout my visits. I highly recommend Dr. Wiess and their team to anyone in need.

I was looking for a new OB/GYNY doctor since my doctor had taken a leave of absence and I was very happy with my choice to see Dr. Weiss. I am in the healthcare field, and I knew all the important questions that needed to be asked relating to my past healthcare, and he asked them all. Dr. Weiss took a lot of time with me and was very thorough. He was very personable and was a good listener. I couldn't be happier with him and my healthcare plan moving forward.

Best Doctor in the region! Delivered all four of my kids! Been a patient for 20 years!

Dr. Wiess is phenomenal at his job. He typically runs late, however, that may be due to an emergency at the hospital which requires his immediate attention. No matter how late he is, he always answers as many questions as I have and provides thorough responses; I never feel rushed at my appt. My initial OB would not continue to treat me because it is a high risk pregnancy and even though Dr. Wiess was not taking new patients at the time, he agreed to take me on as a patient. I also see a high risk Dr. in addition to Dr Wiess and Dr Wiess does a great job collaborating with the high risk Dr. to come up with the safest plan of care. Dr. Wiess is very personable and it is obvious that he truly cares about his patients as he has stated before that he will do his best to make it to my delivery. He also has reported that he thinks of his patients even when he’s not at work which demonstrates that he truly cares. I would highly recommend Dr. Wiess!

Dr weiss , was yelling to his nurses from my room about how far along I was and if they thought they could hear a heart beat. He didn’t catch my cervix being shortened ,when there were literal signs of it being short. I had one ultrasound at 7 weeks and had not had another one untill I went to the hospital at 20 weeks. I didn’t get to hear my babies heart beat but one time. He made me feel like I was not important to him and that he didn’t care .... do not recommend dr weiss .

Very rude bedside manner Hard to get in to see him. Nurse doesn't return phone calls Doctor appears to be burnt out.

I love Dr. Weiss and his office staff! He always explains everything well and never makes you feel awkward. He is excellent at what he does and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Wiess has made this pregnancy a lot less scary. It is my first and I had many complications in the beginning and my original OB still refused to see me until I was 14 weeks along even though I had bleeding. Dr. Wiess agreed to see me after a nurse contacted him, and wasn’t even seeing new patients at the time but still agreed to keep me on because I was so comfortable and relieved after seeing him I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. He explains everything in ways you can understand, and it doesn’t matter how many times you need to hear it. He’s truly amazing!!

Horrifying office experience! My mother (85 yrs old & in wheelchair) went in for check up & while waiting, ran out of oxygen. I asked the receptionist, to use their oxygen for my mother until family could get to us with new tank and was told “NO”. She said she couldn’t allow it because it was only used for code blue patients! Horrifying experience, with my mom getting sick from lack of oxygen when they had oxygen tank in plain view!!!!!!!

Extremely kind and respectful. He made me very comfortable and relaxed, which is not something easily done at the OBGYN's office. Very trustworthy.

Dr. Weiss prescribed me a medication (meant to be taken for 7 days max) for an entire year. Every doctor who reviews the records for it is absolutely baffled and all have told me he should have never done that because of how damaging it can be. His office staff are the most incompetent people in the world. Got stuck with a $300 bill after sending labs to the wrong facility. Told me they'd take care of it then got a letter from collections. Dr. Weiss has no bedside manner whatsoever. Go elsewhere

Dr. Weiss is a BLESSING! He's gone above and beyond for my hubby and me, and he makes sure we feel comfortable and all questions get answered at each prenatal visit. He was wonderful during and after the delivery of our baby! He doesn't sweat the small stuff, and never stressed me out about pregnancy stuff! His office staff is GREAT...and Sue is an AWESOME nurse!!! She's available anytime for questions and concerns!! If I leave a message, she calls right back! I'd give ten stars if I could!

Dr Wiess is the best doctor I could have ever asked for. He always takes his time and answers any questions you have. He makes sure he explains everything so well. He's the only doctor that didn't make me feel bad for being overweight while pregnant. He genuinely cares about his patients. I'm so glad he delivered my baby and if I have more babies, he is the only doctor I would want to see.

I can't express how wonderful Dr. Weiss is. After experiencing a miscarriage I felt hopeless and helpless. One visit with Dr. Weiss and I have hope and a much better outlook and understanding in my journey to conceive. I would recommend him to anyone. What a wonderful doctor. He listens and cares. Five stars aren't enough for this great doctor!

Dr. Wiess goes above & beyond in his care of his patients. I have Lymphocytic Colitis and I was focused on eating a casein-free, low-fat, low-fiber diet. I hadn't even considered the fact that I wasn't getting any calcium. He picked up on it right away, and told me to take 500mg of calcium. He performed surgery on me in August 2016. Followed up with me twice, after. My former gynecologist had retired. I didn't think I'd find another as good. I was wrong - Dr. Wiess is excellent. So, is his staff

Dr.Wiess is the best gynecologist I ever seen. He knows exactly what he's talking about once there's a problem with you. He takes his spare time to reach out to patients other Doctors to get medical history from them and I think this is awesome. I live in Porter County and drive to Crown Point for my appointments. His staff friendly and the office is always clean and neat..

Dr Wiess is an amazing doctor and I highly recommend him. Granted there is a bit of a wait to see him but it is well worth it. Once you see him he takes the time to talk to you and answer all the questions have. If by chance he is unable to see you his nurses are very helpful and get you the treatment you need in a timely manner. I have had no problems with him the front staff or his nurses.
