Dr Tsui always answers every question with patience and respect. He has been my specialist for a long time and I highly recommend him.

Dr Tsui tried to act friendly and caring but you could tell that it was very forced and unnatural. He acts nice when things are going easy, then when the going gets tough (I was surprised at what unexpected things can happen during pregnancy, no matter how young and healthy you are) he switches into a dismissive person who’s annoyed about anything complicated or inconvenient. He was not caring or thorough at all, and made me feel uncomfortable and more concerned. Good luck trying to reach him when you have urgent things to discuss. He recently switched offices and doesn’t seem to stay with the same team for too long, and you have to ask yourself why (red flag). Overall just a terrible doctor who’s lacking in social skills, definitely not someone you want to experience your pregnancy with.

Dr. Timothy Tsui is detailed and extremely thorough when it comes to explaining procedures and patient care. He explained the need for follow-up appointments and wellness. Most importantly, and as always, showed and demonstrated the importance of patient care, listening to medical concerns and kindness and understanding during the medical appointment. Cedar Sinai and we as patients are very lucky to have Dr. Tsui as our treating physician.

Dr Tsui is thorough and makes you feel heard

Not only did Dr. Timothy Tsui have poor communication skills and bedside manners, but he made multiple mistakes that were shocking (won’t be listing all of them, to keep it shorter). He seemed cold and resistant to fully explaining or answering questions, and after speaking to some of his former patients I realized that I wasn’t the only one who had experienced this. After I left to get a second opinion, I found out that Dr. Tsui had come to an inappropriate conclusion based on his imaging read, and as a result I had gone through unnecessary treatment that led to side effects. I also ended up with a missing lab result because he had sent the pertinent sample to the wrong lab. I understand mistakes happen, but there were too many serious ones and he had an indifferent attitude. I wouldn’t trust Dr. Tsui to provide decent care and be transparent, and can’t think of a single reason to see him.

Instead of setting up the testing from the first visit and listening to me in that appointment, I had to press to get the imaging. Once the results came back I had to set up an appointment to go over the results, which is requiring me to now go see another specialist. When I brought up my concern that I suspected I had what I have in my first appointment with Dr Tsui I was dismissed and told I would have been diagnosed In high school, meanwhile In the latest appointment he said that I did have it based off the Imaging I pushed for. He did not listen well, was dismissive, and because the Issue wasn't obstetrics I felt like he wasn't interested.

Dr Tsui is very professional and straight forward. He has our trust and it makes the appointment smooth and not even nerve racking.

Dr. Tsui is very gentle and patience during my procedure. He's also very knowledgeable and detailed with his explanation. The best OBGYN I've encountered!

Dr Tsui always gives good feedback dialogue advice and instructions and always talks to me about my concerns with my health this is well we come up with a solution and feedback and check back
