Great provider
Dr. Poate (rhymes with 'boat,' he says) has been seeing my elderly father for over a year now. I go with him to his visits and am incredibly impressed with how Dr. Poate listens to and honors my dad, knowing he has dementia. He also listens to Mom and I, knowing the family has different issues with the illness. I highly recommend Dr. Poate and his team.

Dr. Poate is what a physician should be. Dr. Poate cares about his patients, he demonstrates a demeanor which generates confidence. There is no better doctor in Colorado than Timothy Poate. Dr Poate, is an excellent doctor and does a great job of listening and communicating with his patients. He’s been my husband’s doctor for about 30 years and he’s done a great job of supporting him through his type 1 diabetes, heart disease, and disc degeneration, as well as a few serious injuries and the more run of the mill medical issues. He’s personable and caring and just an all around gift to the medical community.

Dr. Poate works with the patient to fully understand their situation before prescribing unnecessary medications. He has done an outstanding job in keeping track of my husband's INR numbers. We feel very fortunate to have Dr. Poate for our primary care physician. We think he is the best!

Dr. Poate takes time to discuss health issues without making you feel like you are taking up too much time. We all know doctors are busy people but we also appreciate feeling like someone is truly listening. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. I was referred by a friend and would do the same.
