Dr. Timothy Overlock, MD

Best doctor I have found in Texarkana and all the way over to Dallas. I had heard from another medical professional that he was excellent for the way he diagnoses. Did he tell me things I didn't want to hear like I need to lose weight immediately and a few other urgent life changes? Sure. I don't go to doctors to whisper sweet nothings and get coddled. I want straight-forward answers to my questions and Dr. Overlock gives them. I followed his regimen and got better after going to doc after doc. If you want to comforted and complimented, go to another doctor. If you want quality healthcare and truth with vast knowledge and expertise behind it, no matter if it hurts, then he's your doc. Highly recommended.

In short, it was a nightmare; berating life style choices, ordering unnecessary tests, making up false diagnoses and having an inappropriate “bedside manner.” The “icing on the cake “ was he failed to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy.

I was a patient with Dr. Timothy Overlock from December of 2018 until April of 2019. He made several false statements in my medical record , in his own efforts to have me lose my only source of income, SSDI and SSI income, as i have been disabled since 2000. He stated that his drug therapies treating my diabetic condition, along with gastroperesis involvement, were helping my kidneys, when they were , again self admittedly , harming my kidneys. He further claimed that I had arthritis, when my condition is body wide nerve damage, from diabetes. He later denied that he ever stated to both myself and my wife that he was harming my health. My wife and I then left his care, and reported him to the Governor of Texas, as well as the Texas State Medical Board. He is nothing but a fraud and a quack, nothing less. Enough said.

Only one of three board certified physicians in Texarkana, I did my homework before I went to him. Extremely knowledgeable about medicines and new advances in medicines. Takes that thorough knowledge and puts it into his practice. He does not rush through appointments, but takes time to listen to patient concerns. Have recommended to many in my friends and family. First rate for sure.

He listens & encourages. He stays up to date on the newest drugs & research. Good doc.

Dr. Overlock is a very caring physician. He takes time to answer all your questions and doesn't make you feel rushed through the appointment.
