I saw Dr. Lee quite some time ago and am distressed about the reviews. I went to Dr. Lee because of the excellent reviews on every site. When I saw him I waited a full 2 hours in the waiting room despite arriving 45 minutes before my appointment time. I then waited an additional hour in the room. The nurse that checked me in was very unfriendly. Dr. Lee came in the room and didn’t ask one question about why I was there or what I needed to be seen for. He was very dismissive and did not care to listen to anything I had to say. Needless to say I was there because I was paralyzed and at the time it was due to unknown causes so you can image how terrifying it was. After asking misleading questions and acting like he was trying to trick me into answering wrong he became frustrated when he did not succeed in confusing me. He finally snapped that he would send me for an MRI. He said someone would call me that week. 8 months later someone did. I went elsewhere.

He saved my life. I had meningitis was in hospital for 7 months but dr.lee did put in 2 spinal shunting drlee put in a vp shunt first time I could sit up

Dr Lee is the best. I am a retired neuropsychologist and therefore have interacted with many neurologists Dr. Lee has a chairside manner that makes patients feel safe. He listens and wants to help. He is intelligent, empathic,, and knows what he is talking about. He really cares about each case. I could go on but instead want to say I feel privileged to be his patient. He is not the "usual pill giver without knowledge through imaging etc". If you can get an appointment do so. Respectfully, Dr Susan J. Williams.

I am a new patient. Dr. Lee had a nice beside manner. He is thorough which one stood out to me in my first visit with him. I was happy with the office staff and the care that Dr. Lee provided to me. Dr Lee is caring and concerned about my health. I used to see his wife who retired. Dr Lee took alot of time going over my whole chart and all of my medications and all of my previous medical history. I would definitely recommend him to other patients. I did have to wait a little while in waiting room but since he spent that amount of time with me he probably takes time with all of his patients. I would definitely recommend him to other patients.

I liked Dr Lee but he was vague about ordering a test. What I heard was that he would order the test if I did not improve by my next visit (in 3 months after taking the medications he prescribed a chance to work). I was surprised when I was contacted less the a week after my appointment to have the test scheduled.

I’m not sure why he seems to have such high reviews. Based on my experience, I would say the high reviews aren’t actual reviews. I waited two hours to be seen. As a new patient, he asked zero questions, didn’t ask why I was there. He didn’t do a exam. Everything I said was met with great suspicion as if I was making things up when I was simply telling him what my other specialist have said. I can’t stress enough what it feels like to be terrified of your future when you’ve been diagnosed with a devastating disease. A disease that has robbed you of your life. I have no life now. No joy, no peace. I just exist. He could have cared less. In the paperwork it said the first appointment would last 60 minutes because you would get a thorough exam. He was in and out in 5 minutes. Our health care system is just as broken as I am & no one cares.

His explanation of the case and treatment or no treatment was laid out in layman terms that gave me great comfort. I am very pleased with my service and Dr. Lee.
