Dr. Timothy Kufahl, MD

My experience started out positive with Dr. Kufahl. He seemed to really listen to my needs and give good advice in regard to lifestyle modifications to optimise my health. However, as I had subsequent visits, he seemed to turn very conservative and dare I say laissez-faire approach to my healthcare needs. He was reluctant to run tests or prescribe medications that could help me. It's hard to know for sure if it's general laziness, lack of caring, or ignorance on his behalf. Regardless of the reason, I've decided to switch providers as he is not right for me.

My original PCP suddenly passed away when I was 16, then taking me 15 years to find a new PCP I was comfortablewith. When I meet with Dr. Kifahl he is kind, he listens to me, and together we come up with a plan. It's never been a horrendous experience. I leave feeling motivated and satisfied. For reference, I'm in my 30s, overweight, with some physical activity.

I will honestly say it was traumatizing being under Dr Kufahl’s care. He belittled my issues, insisted that he knew what works for me and what doesn’t better than I did (even though I’ve only saw him for two years and had the same medical condition for 12 - which was treated successfully from my prior doctor for 10 years before he retired). He completed switched my meds and made my life hell; didnt take into consideration how I felt or what I wanted - I was not able to be involved in my treatment plan at all. He talked to me in a condescending tone, never acted like he was trying to understand how I felt. Anything that we disagreed on, he’d say “this is just how I doctor.” When I finally told him I was going to seek a new physician at my last appt, he wrote notes in my chart that were literally false. I have never had such a bad experience in my entire life. 10/10 DO NOT recommend unless you’re a perfect person with a perfect life and have no health issues.

Excellent. Dr kufahl is direct and empowers me to take ownership of my health. He is responsive to portal messages, and is quick to find alternatives relating to my healthcare. I appreciate Dr. Kufahl’s matter of fact concern. I am in good hands. Thank you.

I saw this doctor one time to establish care since my previous doctor left. Kufahl is devoid of compassion, offered no alternatives to the care I had been given for over 30 years that he declined to even consider, then LIED in his progress notes. Never go to him.
