Dr. Timothy Kennedy, MD

Dr. Kennedy delivered my now 29 yo and 15 yo children. I was a complicated case and both csections were flawless. Compassionate!

His picture is a lie online. Add about 20 years. He came off very fat phobic. This guy needs to retire. Listen to the other 1 star reviews. He seems very old school. Doesn't seem updated on current day medical information. He had seen on my record that I have PCOS and assumed I was diabetic. Very ignorant, save yourself from a horrible experience.

***CHOOSE A DIFFERENT OB*** He will say whatever he needs to say to push you to do what he wants you to do. After telling my wife that he would support what she wanted, he proceeded to basically tell my wife that she needed to undergo a C section. After being in labor for a few hours and not progressing much he told her “if you don’t have the C section tonight I’ll be seeing you tomorrow morning to do it anyway”. Also, when my wife inquired about getting her tubes tied he told her “most women don’t do that because what if your baby were to die”. These were just a couple examples of how this guy conducts himself. I was away at a training out of state and could not be there for my wife’s labor or delivery. After being in the room for a couple of his visits, the nurses present told my wife that they wanted to be in there for any future interactions with him. Extremely unprofessional. I’m guessing he wouldn’t have said what he saying had I been present, but there’s bo telling.

Doesn't listen to any of my concerns, refused to consider any other kind of birth control other than the pill no matter what I said. Spends about 2 minutes with me at each appointment. Not good.

If I could give a 1000 stars I most definitely would! Dr. Kennedy is a very amazing OBGYN. I am new to WA and have been referred to numerous ones, but as soon as I came across him- I knew he was the one! He’s very kind, friendly, patient, caring confident, and most importantly— knowledgeable and empathetic. I appreciate how Dr. Kennedy is a really good listener/communicator. On the day of my surgery, I was a very very difficult patient (I’m lying! I was likely the most annoying patient) but he sat patiently and allowed me to do the talking to reveal the answers he was looking for, hear my concerns and fears. He gives me the time and need that I deserve. This type of bedside manner separates good from great. He is great and I know I am in great hands. He’s so different from other doctors I have cone across in that he is so compassionate and kind to his patients, their families and his staff. I definitely recommend him to anyone!! He’s the BEST of the best.

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Kennedy. He truly cares about my well being and you can tell he has an abundance of experience in OBGYN by the way he explains everything and in a way you can understand. He has handled two pregnancies, and delivered both of my babies, which were C Sections, and both times went amazingly smooth and he made me feel safe and in good hands. He's non judgmental, and sticks to the facts, so if he recommends a treatment and I ignore him, there's no lecture, he just goes into what the next courses of action will now be. My 6th pregnancy ended around 10 weeks because my fetus lost its heartbeat, and I had to have it removed. He sat through my sobs and waited patiently to answer my questions after I could get them out. I've taken my youngest son (2) to my appointments when I had to, and he treated him great, even acted like he was happy to see him. I couldn't say greater things about him! I wish he was a general practice doctor and not just an OBGYN.

Awful. He has an ego that trumps patient care. Don't bring your child to your appointment. He'll make it clear as day that he wasn't happy you brought them and isn't very kind to them. Stay clear of this "doctor"
