I am just appalled with Dr. Hurst. He is very judgemental. He made me feel bad that I have to take the medicines that I do. This facility is very rude and mean. They don't really offer any sound help, and really never give you the help you need. They want to refer you out to different specialists, yet even they create medical mutiny. There is more causation of harm towards 4he patients than anything. The staff is unprofessional and when I was at the office, the nurses were not at the desk. They were out in their cars, or smoking cigarettes. The Dr. Said that he wouldn't prescribe anything to me because of some "federal guidlines", and when I asked him what that meant, he refused me any answers. He told me to go to the hospital instead, and I left there devastated. I am in a lot of pain, and needed help, but they ridicule you. They are terrible and they should be shut down. Don't go to them. They are evil people. They offer more ridicule than anything. Bad place 2 be. Don't trust them

Doesn't tell you anything about your results, sends you to a bunch of referrals and doesn't tell you, some are often over 30-40 miles away from his practice. The staff is nice but one nurse flat out said she doesn't get the flu shot which I've never heard from any medical professional say and raised a red flag. You usually get a copy of lab work results from a doctor, not with here. Dr. Hirst spends barely any time with you and doesn't actually listen to your problems and instead tries to quiz you like it's a chemistry or biology test. Kind of crazy. I'd avoid this Dr. Hirst and LifeCare altogether, it's a low cost clinic and I've been to plenty around the country and this one takes the case for being just the most ludicrously stupid and frivolous one. You don't feel like you're being treated and often left in the dark. Serious matters move at a snail's pace, you're better off going to a practice. I'm actually worried some of these nurses haven't vaccinated themselves for COVID.

Pretty bad. Just to give you a clue of how bad he shut the door when I was midsentence asking him an important question regarding a condition. He regularly fails to mention anything out of the ordinary and unlike any other doctor I've had, he doesn't provide LabCorps information for lab work. It's been months with this guy and I finally gave up after he spent 2 minutes and shut the door mid-sentence when there were no other patients in the waiting room or other rooms. Time for Dr. Hirst to hang it up and retire. He talks down to you as if you are an idiot, as well. I've lived with a chronic condition my entire life, all it took was the first doctor decades ago to tell me how it works, I just cannot believe he is so non-chalant and their record keeping and communication is terrible about a life threatening condition. When a certain level was low, I told him I specifically supplement that and likes to give chemistry lessons about ingredients. He doesn't listen.

Doesn't care about his patients and the specialists he he refers them to. Barely spends any time and if he does, it's done at 3rd grade level like he's talking down to you. Why waste your time practicing medicine when you don't care about the people you treat? I've haven't had any success with this guy, just slowly strings along and will make sure to exit the room before you can ask any questions. Terrible doctor, don't waste your time with him.
