Hernia 4
I had hernia surgery (4 of them) on September 23rd preformed by Dr. Dawson. The surgery was flawless, almost completely painless, and quick recovery time. Dr. Dawson guided me through the procedure prior to surgery. I was up and at it the next day with no ill feelings. Did not have to take any medicine for pain. Light lifting restrictions during the healing process. I only have one regret, I didn't do it sooner. The surgery was preformed by Da Vinci robotic system.

Gastroparesis
During a standard lap chole he damaged my wife's vagus nerve and sentenced her to a life of pain and suffering. I would go anywhere but him.

Excellent physician
I had been sick for several months, lost over 80 lbs, I felt I would not survive. Test after test, and no solid diagnosis or effective treatment. Finally, a gallbladder test seemed to reveal a problem. I was referred to Dr. Dawson, he dove into my records and all my tests. After a thorough investigation and asking specific questions of me and my wife, he found it was not my gallbladder, but a blockage in an artery in my stomach. Dr. Dawson saved me from unnecessary surgery, and determined I needed a vascular surgeon to look into my problems. I am now completely well, and no surgery. This is the kind of doctor you hope and pray to find. He didn’t just rely on a test, he actually listened to us and the symptoms didn’t align with a gallbladder attack. I want to also say, Dr. Dawson’s staff was just fantastic, the nicest people you will meet. If you need a surgeon, Dr. Dawson, in my opinion, is the one, he is for me.
