Dr. Timothy Bonine, MD

Staff very helpful. Dr. Bonine down to earth and is not judgmental.

Initial visit was with the PA, Mary. She was excellent. Completely reviewed my medical history, asked relevant questions, and provided suggestions about care options.

Every appointment with have with Dr. Bonine, I leave knowing I was listened to and that all of my options were explained to me. He is very good with my children, also, taking the time to listen to them.

As a disabled vet requiring periodic pain medication, I was very surprised to learn today that their policy is not to accept any patient who had a pain medication prescription and Dr. Bonine will not prescribe that medication. It certain this is Dr. Bonine's way of telling vets that he doesn't want them. I'm sure his insurance company is delighted with his policy and he's saving thousands in insurance premiums. But ask yourself, do you want a doctor who's #1 goal is to reduce their insurance?

Dr. Bonine is an excellent physician who treats his patients as partners in their own health care, as opposed to dictating to them. This is really important to me personally, as I insist on having a say in what I put into my body. He's open to discussing the pros and cons of different medication options until we reach a consensus about the best way forward. Few doctors are willing to do this.

Visited Dr. Bonine after experiencing an episode of disabling shoulder and neck pain with accompanying incredible high blood pressure. He prescribed a BP med and a visit to a masseuse. Two weeks later, I had a heart attack! During the follow up visit to Dr., he came in holding a baby! I don't think my issues had his full attention, to say the least!
