Rx refills and appointment
First they changed my appointment for two months later and have a problem getting refills on my RX for panic attacks. Now I'm out of meds after 5 calls to them.

Needs to Retire
I feel like this doctor doesn’t really pay attention to the patient. When I sit and talk with him, he mostly looks at his computer and as I explain issues, he starts to over talk me as if he knows where I’m going or what I’m going to say. This leads to several disconnects between doctor and patient. He also told me that his psychiatry literature says it’s impossible for me to be diagnosed with a certain condition AFTER I put in his hands an article from the MayoClinic (along with several other articles and studies) that completely contradicts what he was telling me. I’ve been (I believe) misdiagnosed for 4-5 years and what seems to be common is these doctors get in a rut, hear key words or phrases they’ve heard in the past (especially with over 40 years experience) and ASSUME they know what’s wrong or know what you’re gonna say before you say it. That is NOT consultative communication. Did finally get to the root issue but it was an absolute chore trying to work with this man.

I saw Dr. Baltz decades ago, through the University where my husband at the time attended. He was the first doctor I'd ever seen who took the time to truly listen to me, and he even advocated for me when I had insurance issues. He went above and beyond, and I now realize all these years later, just how rare that is. If I still lived in Alabama I would definitely seek him out, and I most highly recommend him based on my own personal experience.
