Tiffany Hor is by far the worst doctor I have ever had in my life. I made an appointment last year to meet with her because of some blood work results and my family history of thyroid disease. She made me feel terrible for going and told me I was wasting time and that I shouldn’t have ever made an appointment there. She made me feel like I was not welcome and that she has better things to do with her time. She berated me for so long that I started to CRY. I do not cry easily so this shows how terribly she was treating me. When I asked if I should just leave, she told me no since I was already there. She probably just said this because she wanted to bill me. I got a bill for almost $400 that I have been fighting ever since even though I have Blue Cross PPO. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but now a year later I found out from a different doctor that I have Hashimoto’s disease. And get this, that doctor recommended I see an endocrinologist. Tiffany Hor ordered blood work but NEVER mentioned Hashimoto’s. She said my thyroid was a little high but I was fine. I am beyond furious with her for not only treating me like garbage but for neglecting my health. I wouldn’t recommend Tiffany Hor to my worst enemy.

I believe Dr Hor is a knowledgeable in her field. I waited 5 months for my first appointment. However, Dr Hor has been unresponsive to mychart messages and lacked empathy during appointment. She has been unresponsive to bloodwork results. I am only continuing with her care until I move up with waitlist with another endocrinologist friends suggested. With the positive reviews online my hopes were high she should be a great match to support my care, but unfortunately that has not been my experience.

Dr. Hor is fantastic. When I was at Rush for knee replacement surgery in 2013, and found out I was diabetic, she was the physician who saw me. She looked out for my best interest, kept me overnight to monitor me and be sure I understood what to do. For my continued care, she is always extremely responsive, especially through MyChart, answers questions, and stays involved with my care. I don't know where I would be without the focused direction she has provided.

Unfortunately, like many career-centered, not patient-centered medical field employees, Dr. Hor does a very rushed 5 minute consultation. Forget he about having her follow up with patients. Don't bother with the hassle of having with rude office secretaries. Gives Rush University a bad vibe. Too bad. Simply substandard.
