I had my first visit with Dr Higgins in June and she was VERY pregnant at the time. She prescribed a series of blood tests. With a very high-deductible insurance, I would have to pay out of my pocket. It turns out that I had most of those tests 4 months earlier, so I sent a message asking if she would be okay with a copy of those tests. It is possible that she left on maternity leave and never got the message, but the doctor filling in for her should have responded. I am left to wonder "why ask for blood tests if you don't want the results". I called her office and gave them an opportunity to make this right and they were rude and unapologetic about the whole thing. My experience is 0 stars, but I will give 3 stars to Dr Higgins because it may not be all her fault.

Dr. Higgins is a very conscience physician with a caring attitude that makes her special in many ways. I have been seeing her since she moved to Mt. pleasant and will always recommend her to family and friends. She continues her education and keeps up with the latest info in medicine. My husband and I both appreciate her services and personal caring.

Dr. Higgins made a great first impression. She was thorough, understanding and compassionate. Dr. Higgins didn't let my cynical nature deter her in her quest to resolve my medical issues.
