Dr. Thu Nguyen, MD

My first visit was a staff member trying to scare my already very worried wife about all the ways I could die before we ever got to meet the doctor. Most of our meetings have been very short with Dr. Nguyen before she ushers us out to her staff without letting us ask any questions. My last appointment was "misplaced" by the front desk and they sent us home with a promise to call and reschedule. In March they promised me they would be sending off paperwork to the DMV. That day I asked if I needed a copy to take care of things. They reassured me that I didn't. I just got a letter saying that my license will be suspended. When I asked about that they told me, "Just because we sent it doesn't meant they got it" I asked for a copy and they refused saying they will send it again. The entire staff is very dismissive. I am on a very high dose of medication and am supposed to be having regular follow ups but nobody seems to care about that. Personally I wouldn't recommend this office.

My wife has been suffering from chronic head aches/migraines. One doctor had put her on a medication that was not helping and actually making things worse. She was able to get into see Dr. Nguyen an she helped get her off that medication, and use another medication to help control the intensity of the migraines. My wife felt she was helpful in listening to her issues. The only drawback was Dr. Nguyen is not easy to get into and you may need your primary care physician to reach out and help get an appointment - and it may still be a week or two out.

Great! one of the best Dr/patient visits I have had. Dr. Ngyen was thorough and spent over an hour with us doing a review and review of the issues. very personable nd great bedside manner. Yes, it was a long process to et an appointment, t as we finally found out about during the visit, the EEG and MRI data was found to be very valuable for the visit.

Good. Seemed well qualified, though somewhat "traditonal" neurologist :|

She had a blunt affect through the visit. She made me feel like I was visiting my mechanic. Shaming environment. I actually caught her in a lie though she didn't realize it. Wish I never would have made the appointment.

I've attempted to make an appointment several times without success for the the last two weeks. I have a Doctors referral, I've faxed them countless documents they require for some reason before they'll schedule, I've had to call multiple times despite being told they'd call me back, & I still have been unable to get an appointment! What a joke!!! I've never had a more difficult time getting a Doctor to take my money!

Made it extremely difficult to get an appointment. Won't see patients without an MRI and sleep study. Staff is rude.

I found her to be a very thorough doctor. She believed what I was saying and was warm and personal and not over the top arrogant. She made me feel less anxious.
