Dr. Thomas Wood, MD

Dr. Wood is a sweet caring doctor with a very pleasant bedside manner. He truly cares about his patients and never rushes you in order to go to another. I cannot emphasize enough how appreciative I am of Dr. Wood and his staff, especially Anna his scheduler who have been there for me whenever I needed an emergency appointment for my son. One day my son's peg tube came out, I panicked, I did not want to take him to the emergency hospital. I called the office and left a message for Anna. Anna shortly after that called me and told me that she had talked to Dr. Wood, and he is ready to see him as soon as I could take him there; this is when I knew how busy he was that day.As soon as we got there, they let us in to the exam room, and Dr. Wood came in quickly soon after. He changed the tube very gently and at the same time very quickly while my son was in his chair. Not only he did not rush out after that, he also made sure we did not have any questions before he left the room.Thank you.

Dr Wood is by far one of the most amazing Drs I’ve ever had. He has fantastic bed side manners, he listens and doesn’t rush to get you out the door like most. I never even waited long to be seen! You can tell he loves what he does and he put me at such ease when I needed surgery. His team was incredible. I have nothing but great things to say in the 8 months that I followed up with him. Thank you for taking such great care of me - forever grateful!

Just had umbilical hernia repair surgery yesterday with Dr. Wood. Dude walks in with a backpack like he's ready to go camping. That's when I knew things were going to be OK. This guy is a true professional and a magician with his hands. Today, I am walking around with no pain, although I know it will take 8 weeks to full recovery.

Excellent surgeon, highly recommend. Advanced Breast Cancer that I had assumed was a non cancerous Tumor, family history. Dr. Wood explained in detail, and followed through with guidance. He's been a blessing.

Dr. Wood is professional, takes time with his patients, and is referred by respected gastroenterologists - his surgical demeanor and team are all professional and reassuring. All a huge plus for me. His staff is efficient and pleasant.

My surgery went well and I will elect to Dr. Wood to perform my surgery if needed in the future.

Dr. Woods performed a cholecystectomy and cyst removal. He was very Professional and caring. My husband needs hernia surgery soon and I would have no other surgeon perform the procedure. I would rather pay out of pocket and have him operate on me if my insurance didn’t pay. Excellent bed side manners

I have chronic pancreatitis and a very large cyst associated with it . Thomas W. Wood M.D is very honest and if surgery is not a safe or last option, he will not suggest it . He was very professional and friendly. He always takes the time to explain everything and answer all questions in terms that anyone can understand. He makes you feel comfortable, with his experience and knowledge, this is the person you want to see. I highly recommend MD Thomas W Wood and his staff was great as well
