DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!. My second opinion doctor - a reputable pulmonologist told me that everything Dr. Wilcox diagnosed as being wrong with me was INCORRECT. After my sleep study Dr. Wilcox said I had severe sleep apnea and would need to use a CPAP machine for the rest of my life, and that I would need oxygen on a regular basis also. I was quite upset ...but the reputable doctor told me it was all false. I have never had any problems - was just going through some stress at the time.

He was not prepared for my visit. I had to get my files and send them to him when he should have requested them. Not reliable, had to reschedule several times. I’ve repeated tests and waiting months to get his results.

Went to see him for the first time because breathing problems had gotten extremely worse over a short period. He disagreed with the 8 doctors (pulmonologists, cardiologists, radiologists, and PCPs) that I had seen in the last 15 years, 5 of them in the last 3 months. He didn't examine me at all and stood at the door of the examination room and told me that I had COPD and needed to quit smoking (which I knew). He changed my medicine to an inhaled powder which I cough out when I tried to use.
