Dr. Wascher is the Best!
When my spinal stenosis became very severe, I made an informed decision to proceed with a laminectomy and spinal fusion. I was so relieved to know Dr. Wascher would be performing the surgery. I have total confidence and faith in Dr. Wascher’s abilities. His proven performance made me feel comfortable with the surgery. And the results were even more than I hoped for. I had immediate relief from the numbness and pain caused by the stenosis. Following Dr. Wascher’s recovery recommendations, I feel 20 years younger and am pain free!

#1 Spinal Surgeon
I recently had ACDF surgery and Dr. Wascher and his team were phenomenal. They were very thorough in explaining the steps of the procedure, along with outlining the risks, and assuring me that everything would go great with his proven success rate. His team always responded within 24 hours of a message left with a concern or question. Hands down the best spine surgeon and I highly recommend him.

Very pleased!
Dr. Thomas M. Wascher and his team were incredible from start to finish. From the moment I walked into the office, they made me feel at ease—friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Surgery can be nerve-wracking (pun intended)0, but Dr. Wascher took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all my questions, and ensure I felt confident going in. The procedure itself went smoothly, and the level of care I received before, during, and after was top-notch. I can’t say enough good things about him and his staff. If you need a surgeon who truly puts his patients first, Dr. Wascher is the one to see.-Thomas

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Wascher performed a Laminectomy surgery on my lower back in November. The procedure released the nerves in my lower lumbar spine bone and greatly relieved the pain in my back and left leg. I'm walking normal now and pain free. Dr. Wascher also replaced a herniated disc in my neck back in 2003 and I've had no problems since. He has a great staff and they're always available if needed. Thank you Dr. Wascher! My wife and I greatly appreciate your care and concern.

L3-L4 Microsurgical Discectomy
I had an L3-L4 herniated disc and could hardly walk. Being a nurse in the Fox Valley for over 30 years, I had no hesitation of who I would see. I contacted NeuroSpine and asked Dave and Dr. Wascher to look at my MRI. They promptly got back to me that day, and I had a visit set up in a few days. Dave and Dr. Wascher were very professional and explained the diagnosis as well as treatment in simple terms, all the while keeping me at ease. Surgery was set up relatively quickly at Advanced Spine Center, which was a well-organized surgery center. I walked out after surgery already feeling better. Recovery after surgery was exactly as explained. Any questions I had were answered and for any symptoms that persisted, I was assured that these were all normal and I was exactly on track. I would highly recommend Dr. Wascher for neurosurgical issues.

Severe spinal stenosis and leg weakness.
After review of my MRI and symptoms, Dr. Wascher's professional decision as to my treatmentwas very evident and gave me confidence in his ability to give resolve my stenosis with a bone fusion at L2-L3 level. He indicated that this treatment should give me many good years of active productive living. Post operatively after three months of walking therapy my leg strength is back to normal and my back is getting strong with physical therapy. I highly recomend Dr. Wascher and his Nurse Practitioner, David Bond, as their professional care is beyond reproach.
