Best Doctor Ever!!
Telehealth
This brilliant doctor saved my life. I saw many doctors at other big hospitals in Boston who did not identify issue and washed their hands of me. The lack of correct diagnosis from other doctors and surgeon, caused a severe disruption to my daily life for ten months..even was in wheelchair! Dr. Vorderer diagnosed me properly immediately and I only needed to incorporate some stretches. I highly recommend him!! In addition, he is extremely professional and personable.

Saw my teen daughter—and me
Both my daughter, a dancer, and I, a middle-aged person with foot pain, have seen Dr. voderer. He treated us both with a great deal of care. He was especially funny with my daughter, which she really appreciated as did I. Every time we saw him, we felt like we were in the hands of an expert. He helped me with problems that other doctors had missed and gave me very good practical advice that helped me get better. He’s kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable.

A bully who doesn't like his diagnosis questioned, even if it's done by other medical professionals. Voderer is the first doctor I have come across who didn't welcome a second opinion to put the patient at ease. Lost his cool when I redirected his nastiness away from my child and on to me. In all my years of dealing with sports injuries from youth level all the way to D1 athletics, I have never met a medical professional with such a chip on his shoulder. Hopefully he takes the position he was bragging about being recruited for so they can get a new doctor to replace him.

arrogant and off-putting
Similar to others reviewing Dr. Vorderer, I found his bedside manner and arrogance to be off-putting, especially for someone working with children. His qualifications are not worth his unpleasant "holier than thou" attitude. Not for sensitive children.

Dr. Vorderer changed our son's life!
Dr. Vorderer recommended orthotics to our son about a year ago and it was life changing! Our son can now run and play without pain and can keep up with his friends. I only regret not seeing Dr. Vorderer sooner. He is very knowledgeable and we couldn't be more thrilled to be under his care. Thank you Dr. Vorderer and BCH!

Recommended to me by a friend who is a physical therapist who was impressed with his practice. I'd had foot pain for awhile, but just thought it was age. My appointment was quick and simple (although he is booking out a couple of months.) I was taken in promptly, he looked at my feet, ordered x-rays and then showed me where I have a congenital defect in my foot that causes some bio-mechanical issues. Recommended some simple innersoles from Amazon and some stretches. Said it was good I came in and didn't let this progress. His prognosis was that I can be pain-free in a few months.

I went to 4 podiatrists at the top Boston hospitals to solve an extremely painful issue w/my foot. It wasn't until the 5th doctor, Vorderer, where my problem was finally solved. I do not know how to express my gratitude & appreciation, All with tremendous dedication and ethics to do the "right" thing for the patient, rather than his pocketbook. One MD, a full blown cowboy, wanted to operate in a superman second. Anther made me orthotics that caused even more pain. Beware out there.

Dr. Vorderer's "bedside manner" was rude and not appropriate for a youth seeking help for a sports injury. After keeping us waiting for almost an hour, Dr. Vorderer went on and on about his own athletic achievements and then shamed my son, comparing him to himself and declaring that he was in much better shape. Not an effective approach or way to build a patient-doctor relationship, at least for my teen. We got little information from the visit.
