Charged $95 for 1st visit, instead of just charging co-pay. Insurance does not let you do that. They did that because deductible was not met.

This review reflects my time as Dr. Vail's patient from 2019-2022, when I moved out of the area. He treated me for foot pain, toenail fungus, and broken foot. He was always courteous, listened and responded to all my questions. He was professional and interested in my concerns. He was efficient and thorough.

I wish I could give less than 1 star. This review has to do with the staff. The staff is what is hurting his business. Dr. Vail needs to fire his staff. My cat could do a better job. The staff has no clue how to treat patients. They are rude if you cancel appointment and they constantly lie to you. I have talked to so many people who say to stay away from this office.

This doctor is billing copays and then wanted an addition $95 because they could see my deductible was not met. The provider is in network and prohibited from balance billing. But provider wants to charge up front when they are a fully aware that the insurance in network pays at 100% of allowed amount. Unless a procedure is done, as this was a consultation, no procedure. Demanding an additional $95, I liken to extortion for medical care. As his consumer base is elderly, I find this practice extremely predatory for a population that will not question his demands. Purpose of the copay system is to prevent balance billing and etc.. This information is not disclosed until 11/11/19 after I had waited weeks to see him.

Office manager is not personable and was short and rude over the phone

Dr. Vail and his staff have provided me with top notch care as I've suffered from heel pain for several months. Dr. Vail understood my concerns and informed me of all options on how to successfully handle my symptoms. His staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I'd highly recommend him to friends and family experiencing foot issues. Class act.

I was having severe heel pain. Dr. Vail and his staff were very helpful and informative, explaining all of my options and outlining a treatment plan. I now walk pain-free. The wait time in his office is very minimal, his staff is very friendly and he has a clean, modern office. I would highly recommend Dr. Vail to anyone suffering from a foot ailment.

I had an ingrown toenail removed by Dr. Vail that I previously had treated by another podiatrist and my family physician. Dr. Vail put me at ease and I haven't had a problem with it since! He has a great sense of humor and his staff is very professional and friendly. I continue to see him as does my entire family. He recommended orthotics for me since I work on concrete and they have helped my heel pain. I would highly recommend him.

I had been to 2 other doctors and got no relief. Dr Vail had me walking with much less pain after the first visit.
