I was admitted 12/6/18 to Piedmont emergency room for severe abdominal pain, nausea and dehydration after fibroid surgery. What bad luck to have Dr. Upshaw on call. Horrible bedside manner, didn’t seem to care I had surgery and couldn’t even stand. Besides his I don’t care attitude, what is most disturbing is that in the 5 hours I was there, he NEVER once checked my incision site for bleeding (one of the first things that must be checked post surgery.) Lawsuit. Beware!
