Dr. Thomas Stakem, DDS

Referred to Dr Stakem by my dentist for emergent tooth extraction, but the receptionist was the rudest person I have ever talked to in a professional office setting. I don’t care how good the dentist is, I would never to go to a health care provider that employs this kind of staff.

Extremely flexible and professional. Over the last 2 years have had 4 teeth pulled, bone graf's and posts put in. Every appointment was on time. Dr. Stakem always thoroughly explained what he was doing and what to expect post procedure. The staff has been a pleasure to work with. When I I had a concern I was given an appointment the same day. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to this office several times but I had an extreme amount of work done on my latest visit. I had 2 extractions, bone graft, and 2 implants. The amount of work I had done should have been a nightmare but I was so incredibly comfortable. Dr. Stakem is absolutely the very best oral surgeon! He’s so incredibly nice, knowledgeable and very professional. His staff is wonderful!!! I feel welcome and ‘taken care of’ the moment I walk in. I won’t go anywhere else….this office is by far the best!

I was referred by my dentist. It took 2 days to finally get a live person on the phone. The woman that was supposed to book the appointment is the rudest person I have ever encountered. She is totally unprofessional and should never be allowed to work in customer service. Even though I need an oral surgeon, I opted to go somewhere else, just because of her. I rarely ever complain about service workers, but I would think that the Drs would want to know. Don't go here, find someone else.

I have had over 10 of my teeth pulled over the past 4 years. Dr. Stakem does not mess around my last visit was 11am and I was about 10 minutes early, they got me right in I planed on 2 teeth to be pulled and after he looked me over knowing my goal to remove all in time he recommended to take 1 more because of advanced decay and would bother me soon for only 100 extra. Which saved me 200.00 so we agreed and I was done and back in my car to get scrips filled in 50 minutes. Also above all I hate pain and although there’s a quick pinch in numbing I have never had any pain in the procedure or afterwards with the pain meds. I would never go anywhere else to have an extraction even though some dentist are a little cheaper it’s still not worth in my opinion. And also who calls later that evening to check on you? Their customer service is HORRIBLE. The office manager is by far the most disgusting person I've ever spoken to. They clearly don't care about providing exceptional customer service or patient care. They don't submit auth requests properly because they want to fool you into paying full amounts for sedation & extractions. They also book out over a month & don't care if it's emergent. My son went for a visit in Nov 2018 & he still hadn't recvd his dental care due to the office staff's lack thereof

Dr Stakem and his stuff are amazing! They are very professional, efficient, always take their time to explain everything about your condition and treatment options. I've had several procedures done and had nothing but good experience with them, and prices are very reasonable. Their offices are the example of how doctors offices should function.

Dr. Stakem is excellent. No ifs, ands, or buts. He is extremely professional while being very personable. Dr. Stakem is definitely the doctor to see for implants and tooth removal. I have so far had two implant procedures. No pain. Everything has gone very well. I am a senior citizen. I have been in dentist's chairs for many procedures. When I go to see Dr. Stakem, I am not nervous and feel relaxed. He explains everything to you. Please don't hesitate, he's the best.

Dr. Stakem is great. However, his office is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I arrived for surgery, she told me there might be an issue with my insurance, which I realize is her job. However, I was already anxious about having anesthesia and our engagement was so wildly inappropriate I almost walked out. When I asked her for a few minutes to calm down she told me I was acting like a little child. She humiliated me in front of other patients. Worst experience ever.

I have seen Dr. Stakem numerous times for extractions and implants. I have always been very happy with the experience and he even called in the evening to check up.

I was referred to Dr. Stakem to have my remaining 3 wisdom teeth removed. I explained to him when I had one previously removed it was my living night mare. I was very nervous going in for my surgery Dr. Stakem and his staff made sure I was nothing but comfortable and understood what was going to take place. Him and the staff were talking to be able the future rain and next thing I remember is waking up, feeling a little sore, but so much better than anticipated. Highly recommend going to see him

The Dr Stakem removed my son's wisdom teeth. He checked on him once, but doesn't schedule follow up. The practice said my insurance 'doesn't like to pay' even though they are in network. They needed full payment to do procedure, but reassured me that they would submit claims. After 1 month I received EOB from Health Insurance- but a month later my Dental insurance was never submitted. When I called to inquire the receptionist was rude suggesting I submit my own claim. Nice till they get $$$$.

Horrific experience. In much more pain today than I was when I came in for a terrible toothache.
