Top Quality Internal Medicine
I am a physician. I'd delighted to pay out of pocket for the best care available, and that's Dr. Sloan. He takes his time, gets it right, and you will not be "processed" or "run through the mill". Stellar knowledge base, detailed knowledge of local specialists and can save patients a lot of time and painful unnecessary care. Realistic approach to problems, taken in the context of the individual patient. You can't get better care anywhere I know.

At $595/hr. Dr. Sloan has all the time in the world. He does not appreciate patients who come armed with a lot of information. He wants them to tell a story. I told my story in my own way but that was not good enough and he told me I am a terrible story teller. He wants his patients barefoot and pregnant. He will be this demigod in front of whom you genuflect. To see this doctor you need a lot of time and a hefty bank balance.

Honestly doesn’t sound like the same office to me after 20+ years of superior, professional service! Staff needs to be to the point when you have a practice that makes good in same day appointments. Some folks may want more coddling. I suggest you’ll often trade top notch expertise and super fast treatment for lengthy wait times and appointments a week in advance. For me, I’ll take the good Doctor and his great staff as long as they will let me!

I have been a patient of Dr. Sloan’s for approximately 20 years, and he is very thorough, kind, does not have an ego and takes the time to listen to you. I’m in the health care field and highly recommend him.

Dr.Sloan is very thorough and spends a lot of time with his patients. He is always on time and will see you the same day if you are sick and call by 9 AM. My husband and I have been his patients for 24 years. He has provided us with excellent care throughout the years.

Dr. Sloan is friendly and attentive. He is noticeably conservative in his approach to medicine. Dr. Sloan's staff can be quite abrupt and even rude at times - making it difficult to deal with them. I have no problem recommending Dr. Sloan, but I won't do it because of his staff members are so unpleasant to deal with.
