When my wonderful allergist in town retired, I had to find a new one. One of my other specialists I see recommended Dr. Scott. After filling out the medical forms and signing consent for them to do both allergy and asthma tests on my first initial visit and requesting that I go off all my allergy and asthma meds before my appointment, they didn’t even do an allergy test on me! I’m sorry, but this is just unacceptable. What kind of place tells you to go off your meds to prepare to have allergy and asthma tests, knowing that, if you are a patient who suffers from horrific allergies on a daily basis and knowing that going off your meds is complete torture, and then not even do the tests?! All they did was waste my time, money, and give me five days of the worst allergic reaction I’ve ever had - and for what? Nothing! What a complete nightmare! I’m already looking for a new allergist.

I saw Dr Scott for a 2 year nightmare case of idiopathic hives! I was MISERABLE until I saw Dr Scott. He did some testing, but nothing seemed to be the problem...hence the “idiopathic” part of the hives. He decided to put me in a 3 times a day cocktail combo of different antihistamines. That absolutely did the trick! It gave me the relief from itching I so desperately needed, and eventually the hives went away as mysteriously as they came on! I truly don’t know what I’d have done without him!

I have been an allergy dept customer for almost 20-years. My family members have had five allergy tests done, on this last routine test we were billed $700 seven-months after the exam and no one from the office can tell me why or what it was for. No one will return a call. Waited six-months to be seen, and waited 2.5 hours the day of the appointment to even be called back! The lady in billing lied and said the bill was legitimate, then admitted she had no idea what it was for. Disgusting people.
