Dr. Thomas Schmeiser, DO

Dr. Schmizer seemed very dismissive and was not very concerned for my quality of life and responded to my concern by stating how much the procedure costs and that it was elective; without even delving into the causes. His demeanor was that of someone that I had potentially offended.

While I like the doctor very much, the staff is rude, non-responsive, and doesn't listen to your concerns. Because of the staff, I had to seek care elsewhere. And the pracitce manager appears to be related to him so you can't really complain about it. Very disappointing because I did like the physician.

I have been a patient at this office for 6 years. The office was fine until UH took over roughly a year ago. After UH affiliated with this practice I have experienced great difficulty with appointments; drug refills; referrals; test followup; etc. In fact, every common medical relationship a patient might expect has become an impossibility in this practice. On entry the staffing across the board is hurried and disorganized to the point of incompetence. Once in the back both Dr. Schmeiser and the PA are distant, dismissive, and appear casually disinterested. The main focus throughout the experience is that of entering information on a laptop that UH now requests; with occasional awareness there is another human presence in the room. I have left this practice as a patient with the fervent hope this experience becomes a distant memory.

They can't seem to get their act together in this office. No one there can manage to get your prescriptions filled accurately, or consistently. Very disorganized. I will not be going back!

The doctor is very candid. He's personable and is easy to talk to. Have always been able to get in in a short period of time and his staff is very friendly

If you get a mammogram and send the results to this office, they will never let you know what the results even when they are bad. Had a mammogram in Dec 5th 2016 and his office didn't let me know that I was to be seen for another mammogram because they saw something on my X-rays. Unacceptable!
