I did a “walk-in” visit and got paired up with Dr. Salsbury. He was very receptive to what I was saying, and prompt with ordering further lab testing for concerns he felt might be of concern due to the specific injury. Him and his staff have called and checked in on me multiple times, including when he called to voice concern about my blood work and instructed me to immediately go to the ER. Dr. Salsbury took time out of his day to come up and visit me here, as I’ve been admitted, and he came to further explain my condition; as well as to check on my well being in pertinence to my muscles! You don’t find doctors who genuinely care about their patients in the way he has showed, I’m grateful for my first encounter with him!

Dr. Salsbury has seen me for over two years. He started treatment with injections but when they no longer provided comfort, he went ahead with partial knee replacement. He kept me informed of all the risks as well as the expected results. I would recommend him for anyone with knee issues.

Total hip replacement. Basically, interviewed 4 other orthopedic surgeons in this field. Dr. Salsbury was the last and quickly chose him for procedure as his professionalism, respect for patient, his surgical anpproach, and bedside manner were the best and strongly appreciated the fact of his military service. I think Central Indiana Orthopedics is a hidden gem. Some - not all, but some of the staff could definitely benefit from taking more FIBER. On the plus side, Dr. Salsbury takes pride in his work, explains things very well and knows his stuff. Nobody enjoys going to an Orthopedic Doctor, but if you had to pick the best Dr, this would be the one. I would trust Dr. Salsbury with a friend or family. Excellence is never an accident. Excellence is proof someone cares. That is such a rarity these days. So, I am grateful for all the assistance and education on dealing with my injury and recovery. Thank you!
