Dr Roodhouse
I went to the ER for Diverticulitis pain. I had 3 other episodes over the years which were handled with antibiotics by my personal physician. But this time was the worse. While in the ER, they performed a CT scan and found my colon was slightly perforated. 2 days in the hospital on 2 different IV antibiotics, Dr Roodhouse ordered another CT scan and things were not getting any better. Dr Roodhouse informed me that in needed surgery to remove the bad section of colon. Dr Roodhouse was very informative throughout every step of this journey. I don’t believe I could have had a better Doctor. The future plan is to reverse the Colonoscopy in a few months when things are healed up. Dr Roodhouse saved my life and I’ll always in debt to him. Dr Roodhouse is very compassionate and knowledgeable in problem solving. I would highly recommend him to anyone for care. Barry Blanchard

Blending competence with kindness
Dr. Roodhouse is the rare surgeon who demonstrates skill and expertise with compassionate bedside manner. His ability to explain surgical procedures in a way that informs while not alarming is extraordinary. His followup after surgery was also deeply appreciated.

I would not recommend - Unfortunately trusting Dr. Roodhouse (as he is kind and personable) is by far the most regrettable decision of my life. I would hate for anyone else to live with the pain and regret I live with everyday. My decisions cannot be undone, I can only share my experience and hope that it spares others. Staff was friendly again as is Dr. Roodhouse - if I could give negative stars for Trust and Likelihood of recommending I would have unfortunately 1 star is mandated by the system
