My experience.
After surgery on my neck several years ago, I got a bone infection. I had to go back to the hospitalto open and clean out the wound from another doctor he worked with, then antibiotics for about a year from a specialist. I don't know if it was his fault or not but I will never trust him again.

Dr Puschak, a very clear communicator.
He listened to my questions, concerns and answered and explained the diagnosis, medications and provided a plan clearly. He also explained future steps I might need. There is a good sense of trust in him. He knows what he's doing.

Frustrated and in pain
I never even had an opportunity to see the doctor. I have dealt with chronic back pain for years and was looking for a new spine doctor in my area after relocating to the west side of Denver. When I made the appointment I stated lumbar pain. Later that week I was in a car accident and when my appointment time arrived I was having pain through most of my back. I was asked by the assistant to describe my pain, which included lumbar and cervical spine. She asked me which was worse, I said cervical spine (it alternates depending on the day). She left the room, came back in and told me we would only be discussing my lumbar pain since that's what I made the appointment for, and I would have to make another appointment for my neck. I got up and left. It would be great to find a doctor more interested in seeing patients as whole people than with milking insurance companies. I'm still in pain, still looking for a doctor, and more than angry at this approach to patient "care".

Cares about his patients
I had cervical spine surgery this time. He has also done 2 lumbar fusions on my back. Every one of these surgeries has taken away the pain immediately. He explains everything thoroughly and is always available for questions! I trust him completely!

On the same page to involve more doctors for a complete opinion on my spinal issue. I really liked that idea for my own peace of mind.

Dr. Paschal reviewed my X-ray and determined my pain was a result of arthritis. Recommend Mythyprednisolone and P.T. Unable to schedule P.T. as there are no openings at Panarama. In process of finding another P.T. Organization.

Would recommend to family & friends
Urgent Care took X-rays of my neck which has been hurting for over a month. I was referred over to Panorama Orthopedics & Spine Center. My consultation there was with Dr. Puschak. I had read the excellent reviews for Dr. Puschak prior to our meeting and he lived up to his A+ reputation. Urgent Care left me feeling overly concerned and like I might need surgery ASAP. Dr. Puschak very patiently listened to and alleviated all of my concerns. He gave me a prescription for prednisone and up to 6 weeks of PT which should be all that I’ll need. He comes across as a genuinely nice, caring and very competent physician. Would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Microdiscectomy wondercure
This was my second micro discectomy but my first time using Dr. Puschak. He answered all of my questions, accommodated my schedule and literally relieved me of the horrible nerve pain that I was living with. I had a lot of compression on my lumbar discs and after trying everything from acupuncture to chiropractic work, Dr. Puschak literally alleviated my pain. Obviously there was a certain recovery time but I can say I am better than ever!!!! Six weeks post surgery I’m actually considering jogging again, I am literally pain-free!!!

Awesome doctor
I have seen Dr. Puschak for many years. I have a condition that has required several spine surgeries, and all have been successful. He takes time to listen, and is very knowledgeable. He doesn't push surgery, resorting to suggesting that only when everything else has not resolved the issue over time. I highly recommend him.

My wife recently had back surgery, in November 2021, and had to be seen yesterday for an incision check. We contacted Panorama, to advise them of a concern, about a possible infection, and was told she could be "squeezed in" with Dr. Thomas Puschak. She was glad to get in, and have the incision looked at, but that was the only good thing that happened during the visit. We waited 45 minutes, (understandable since she was fit in to the schedule), but once Dr. Puschak came in to the exam room it was a complete disaster. He never introduced himself, and the way he was dressed, we did not even realize that he was the doctor. He said, "ok tell me what's going on, because I don't know why your here, and what the problem is". Dr. Puschak seemed irritated that we were even there. He pulled off my wife's bandage, and said you have "spit a stitch", (nice) he then dabbed the incision, left the room and said his PA would call in a script. He never came back into the room to say good luck.
